My approach integrates attachment and trauma-based modalities alongside Brainspotting and emotion-focused family therapy.
You may be a parent worried about your child or teen struggling with anxiety, big emotions, or behavioral challenges. Or you might be a teen or young adult feeling overwhelmed by stress, relationships, identity questions, or the pressure of school, work, or life transitions. Many people come to therapy wanting to better understand their emotions, feel more confident managing challenges, and build healthier connections. Therapy can provide a supportive space to slow down, explore what’s going on, and develop practical tools to move forward with greater clarity and confidence.

Being a human in the world is both an inherently beautiful and painful process. Grief, loss and trauma shape the ways that we approach our daily lives, and sometimes the pain that accompanies these experiences becomes more than anyone can manage on their own. We develop coping strategies in an effort to safely navigate the world, and occasionally these coping strategies become problematic or no longer work for us. Change can be hard and it can be scary, but it can also be exciting and fulfilling; my hope is to help create space to access the range of experiences that arise through the therapeutic process.

While EMDR may be all the hype these days, I utilize Brainspotting, a more customizable, gentle, yet effective approach, that can do wonders for those who are a bit more sensitive, anxious, are neurodivergent, or may have more complex trauma to work through.
You can expect a strengths-based yet integrative approach working with me. Alongside Brainspotting, I use components of ACT, CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, IFS, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy to make this a very catered and person-centered experience for each individual.

I work with individuals and couples navigating depression, anxiety, burnout, grief, relational strain, and specialize in adult ADHD. Together, we create space to regulate, reconnect, and move forward with clarity.

If you've tried to understand why you react the way you do — and understanding hasn't been enough to change it — you're not alone, and you're not broken. Complex trauma, anxiety, and long-standing emotional patterns often live below the reach of insight. That's exactly where I work.
I specialize in helping people who feel stuck in emotional patterns that don't match who they want to be — whether that shows up as anxiety, low self-worth, relationship struggles, or a persistent sense that something from the past is still running the show.

Brainspotting Therapists
How does brainspotting work?
Brainspotting works by using eye positioning to identify and process traumatic memories so that a client is better able to move forward and live with less fear. The theory behind brainspotting is that by identifying where a person looks when thinking of traumatic memories, a therapist will be able to guide them to focus on that spot and work with the client to get them out of the “fight, flight, freeze” response associated with the traumatic memory.
Is brainspotting an evidence-based therapy?
Brainspotting is a theory-based alternative therapy. It is one of the newest forms of treatment, so very little research has been completed that examines the mechanism by which it works. The theory behind brainspotting is that eye position can be linked to areas of the brain that store and process memory.
How effective is brainspotting?
Because it is such a new treatment, the effectiveness of brainspotting cannot be quantified. Some people have found it to be effective on its own, or in conjunction with other types of therapy. It is considered an alternative therapy, and it is popular with people for whom more traditional therapies have proven ineffective.
How long does brainspotting take to work?
A typical brainspotting session will last between 60 to 90 minutes. There is no required number of sessions needed to complete brainspotting therapy, but in many cases it is delivered over the course of about six sessions. Clients are encouraged to rate their level of distress prior to a session and again following a session, and to track progress.
