I'm a goofy, positive gal with a deep well of a capacity for the richness of human emotions in all forms. I love to express myself in painting, and song, and trying new things. I love doing therapy because it's amazing to see people get breakthrough and it's truly a huge honor to walk with you for a period of your journey. I believe humans are resilient, and my job is to empower you with tools so that you don't need me anymore! It's the best when I work myself out of a job with you because we did such great teamwork, and we really found what works for you.

If you've tried to understand why you react the way you do — and understanding hasn't been enough to change it — you're not alone, and you're not broken. Complex trauma, anxiety, and long-standing emotional patterns often live below the reach of insight. That's exactly where I work. I specialize in helping people who feel stuck in emotional patterns that don't match who they want to be — whether that shows up as anxiety, low self-worth, relationship struggles, or a persistent sense that something from the past is still running the show.

I have studied and trained in both EMDR and brainspotting to bring effective trauma treatment to my clients.
I have been providing support to children, adults and families during times of stress, transition and crisis for over 30 years. Areas of specialization include trauma resolution, life transitions and grief. My approach is both compassionate and practical. Supporting healthy attachment in relationship and supporting the inner changes that occur when one steps onto a spiritual path are of particular interest as well. Moving from worn out habits driving behavior to genuine expression and presence.

Life presents opportunities for change, and we all have the ability to grow from this change though self-discovery. I believe that although change is inevitable, it takes courage to be active in guiding change toward personal growth. My goal is to create an environment where real and sustained growth is possible.

My work is rooted in somatic therapy, brainspotting, nervous system awareness, and intimacy work — where the mind-body connection isn't a concept, it's the foundation.
What if feeling like yourself again was actually possible? Midlife can feel heavier than anyone warned you about. You may be noticing more anxiety, emotional fatigue, or a quiet disconnection, even when life looks stable on the outside. Years of holding everything together, caregiving, and overriding your own needs can push yourself into overload. If you've been thinking "I don't feel like myself" — that matters. Your body is already telling you something. Therapy here is warm, direct, and grounded in the body. We slow down, listen closely, and build solid ground beneath you so you can move forward as the fullest version of yourself

I am trained in EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Brainspotting, and the Gottman Method.
I believe therapy should feel like a space where you can slow down, be honest, and feel genuinely understood. My work is grounded in compassion, collaboration, and practical tools that support real, lasting change. I work primarily with adults and teens who are navigating anxiety, stress, relationship challenges, past experiences, and major life transitions. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected from themselves or others. Together, we focus on building insight, developing healthier coping skills, and creating a steadier sense of confidence.

Somatic Experiencing, EMDR, and Brainspotting will help you achieve this.
Is your teen experiencing hurt or confusion and you feel powerless as to how to help them? Do you feel disconnected from them and worry they don’t have an outlet for their pain? Is your daughter struggling with feelings of sadness and low self-esteem? Does she have trouble with nightmares, disturbed sleep, and excessive worry? Is your son in his room, irritable and withdrawn? Are you worried he is using substances? Being an adolescent is tough and social media has made it even harder. I can help your teen understand their emotions and navigate through the stress of being a teenager.

I also offer brainspotting for clients who want deeper processing.
You’ve been trying so hard to keep up and hold everything together, but the anxiety, pressure, and constant self-criticism keep pulling you back into the same exhausting patterns. Some days you cope by trying to control things; other days you turn to substances or familiar habits just to get a moment of relief from your mind. You start each morning with good intentions, yet by the end of the day the guilt, frustration, or overwhelm creeps in again. You’re tired of pushing through alone, exhausted by the cycle, and you’re finally ready for something to shift.

Brainspotting, Tapping, EMDR, & Energy Psychology.
You feel stuck. You’re in your head processing everything, all-day, every-day, from your relationships to your work-life. You’re always overthinking, over-analyzing… each conversation and replaying every interaction in your mind. A never-ending loop of anxious thoughts spins through your mind. These thoughts distract you from living your life. You try to do self-care, but you can’t seem to get any relief. Instead, you feel overwhelmed with fear, guilt, and confusion. Self-doubt consumes you. It’s exhausting endlessly second-guessing yourself. Your fear and insecurities overpower you and they’re taking over your life. You feel lost.

Brainspotting Therapists
How does brainspotting work?
Brainspotting works by using eye positioning to identify and process traumatic memories so that a client is better able to move forward and live with less fear. The theory behind brainspotting is that by identifying where a person looks when thinking of traumatic memories, a therapist will be able to guide them to focus on that spot and work with the client to get them out of the “fight, flight, freeze” response associated with the traumatic memory.

Is brainspotting an evidence-based therapy?
Brainspotting is a theory-based alternative therapy. It is one of the newest forms of treatment, so very little research has been completed that examines the mechanism by which it works. The theory behind brainspotting is that eye position can be linked to areas of the brain that store and process memory.

How effective is brainspotting?
Because it is such a new treatment, the effectiveness of brainspotting cannot be quantified. Some people have found it to be effective on its own, or in conjunction with other types of therapy. It is considered an alternative therapy, and it is popular with people for whom more traditional therapies have proven ineffective.

How long does brainspotting take to work?
A typical brainspotting session will last between 60 to 90 minutes. There is no required number of sessions needed to complete brainspotting therapy, but in many cases it is delivered over the course of about six sessions. Clients are encouraged to rate their level of distress prior to a session and again following a session, and to track progress.
