Ryan, aka "Coach Vigh" or "Vigh", takes an integrative approach to Therapeutic Mentoring by utilizing multiple theoretical models, in addition to educational strategies, to best fit an individual client's needs. "My approach emerged from my formal instruction in Cognitive Psychology and Educational Psychology, my experience working in the field for 15 years, as well as my desire to instill positive changes in someone such as those that my mentor was able to foster in me."

I welcome all of my clients intersectionality in sessions. My clinical practice engages in culturally responsive trauma- informed healing. My work centers with LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC communities.

I believe in empowering my clients to recognize the strengths in themselves to deal with life's challenges. For 20 years, I have provided therapy to children, adolescents and families in the areas of anxiety, depression, trauma, attachment, parenting and divorce. I work collaboratively with my clients to identify their treatment goals and believe in the importance of establishing a trusting therapeutic relationship to affect change. I use a variety of therapeutic approaches based on the individual needs and goals of the client. My work with youth addresses increasing self-awareness, building self-esteem and problem solving.

I work with children, adolescents, adults and families. My therapeutic approach is humanistic, strengths-based and attachment-focused. I am a culturally-sensitive clinician, who emphasizes working transparently and collaboratively with clients of all backgrounds and orientations. In an effort to synthesize my love for music with my passion for mental health, I also co-founded Backline Care, a nonprofit organization providing mental health and wellness resources to those in the music industry.

I have worked with individuals, couples, and families in counseling for the past 20 years and was an educator prior. I work with a wide variety of clients, but have extensive experience working with anxiety, depression, divorce, parenting, life transitions, personal discovery, and spiritual issues.

I am a Child and Family Therapist specializing in Play Therapy, working with children ages 3- 12 struggling with such issues such as grief, adoption/foster care, trauma, self- esteem, divorce and sensory processing disorder. I have received extensive training at the Play Therapy Institute of Colorado in brain development and utilizing the nervous system as a means to understand and help clients regulate themselves. I am a resource for parents and caregivers, offering coaching and education to help create loving relationships by understanding their child's needs and ways to support their growth individually and within the family system.

I work with those who believe that relationships (with ourselves, others, and our environments) are what make life meaningful. I have a special interest in the intersection between ADHD and self-esteem issues, but I work with individuals, couples, and families around a variety of issues.
