Using ERP, ACT, and trauma-informed strategies, we build skills that reduce compulsions and calm the nervous system.
If your mind won’t give you a moment of peace, if it’s full of what-ifs, intrusive thoughts, or pressure to get everything exactly right, you're not alone. I specialize in OCD and anxiety: compulsions, panic, doubt loops, perfectionism, and the fear of losing control. If you feel exhausted from trying to manage it all internally, that makes sense. Your nervous system is overwhelmed trying to "protect" you. Therapy can help you breathe again and rebuild trust in yourself. I also work with couples navigating communication, conflict, and repair.

Feeling stuck, weighed down by past trauma, stress, or self-doubt is exhausting. Struggles with relationships, identity, and balance can make it hard to move forward. You want to feel whole again—to reconnect with who you truly are and break free from the patterns holding you back.

I use a combination of empirically supported treatment models ( ACT, Mindfulness, ERP, Self-Compassion) packaged in a warm, culturally informed, and professional working relationship.
Has anxiety, overthinking, and rumination left you overwhelmed or stuck? Do you have difficulty making decisions? Do you get sucked into "anxiety spirals" that disrupt your life? Using an evidence-based approach, I can help you find long-term success. Alongside specialized anxiety treatment, I conduct psychological assessments that provide invaluable information regarding personality, strengths, cognitive function and interests. Assessments may be used to provide direction in terms of school, career, or mental health treatment, and/or obtain a formal diagnoses to secure academic and occupational accommodations.

Working with me you will learn about emotion focused interventions, increase self-efficacy through strengths-based approaches and deepening understanding of your functioning through Acceptance and Commitment Therapies.
“I push my emotions aside instead of dealing with them.” “I carry trauma that I don’t know how to process.” “I feel like I take up too much room.” “I don’t feel truly alive.” Navigating life’s challenges can feel overwhelming, especially when anxiety, depression, or self-doubt weigh heavily. You don’t have to go through it alone. I offer a collaborative, strengths-based, and emotion-focused approach to counseling.

I often work from an attachment-informed, trauma-aware therapy and CBT/ ACT skills approach.
You might be doing “fine” on the outside, but at home it’s tense - or you feel flat and tired. Maybe you and your partner keep having the same fight, or past trauma shows up as shutdown, irritability, or panic. I work with Denver-area adults and couples who want less conflict, more connection, and a steady path forward.

I draw from CBT, ACT, Motivational Interviewing, and Solution-Focused Therapy depending on what you're working through.
You're holding things together. Work, relationships, family, expectations. From the outside it probably looks fine. But something feels off and it's getting harder to ignore. Maybe it's anxiety that never quiets down. Maybe it's stress that's become your baseline. Maybe something shifted and you're not sure how to get back to yourself. Whatever brought you here, you don't need to have it figured out before reaching out. I work with adults, teens, and couples across Colorado. Anxiety, depression, ADHD, life transitions, relationships, and cultural identity pressure. Honest, warm, and real.

Acceptance and Commitment (ACT) Therapists
How does acceptance and commitment therapy work?
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy encourages a person to listen to their self-talk. A person’s inner dialog can be indicative of how they treat themselves. ACT also encourages self-compassion; this can lead to a better understanding of negative thought patterns and emotional states. This understanding can then lead the individual to needed behavior change.

What are the goals of acceptance and commitment therapy?
The goal of acceptance and commitment is to expand a person’s psychological flexibility, a trait that encourages an individual to live in the present moment and to accept all their thoughts, feelings, and emotions, even ones that are difficult such as sadness and anxiety. In ACT, this acceptance is congruent with the individual’s values and beliefs.

Does acceptance and commitment therapy work for depression?
Acceptance and commitment therapy is effective for depression because it allows the individual to view their discomfort and suffering differently. Depressive feelings about relationship heartaches, for example, are a part of life. A despondent person learns to let go of their struggles and instead view their painful thoughts and feelings with compassion. This will lead the individual toward positive change.

How long are people typically in acceptance and commitment therapy?
A typical acceptance and commitment therapy session is 50 minutes long with one session per week. Treatment for common problems such as anxiety, depression, or relationship difficulties can last between eight weeks to four months. However, more severe cases may require more than one session a week and/or a longer time frame for treatment.
