If you're feeling lost in your relationships, overwhelmed by a harsh Inner Critic, stuck in patterns that no longer serve you—or maybe just plain exhausted by trying to hold it all together—I see you. Whether you're navigating the chaos of early adulthood, facing a midlife shift, or living with the weight of complex trauma, you don’t have to do it alone. I work with people who are incredibly hard on themselves, wrestle with perfectionism, people-pleasing, and over-functioning in relationships, and quietly wondering, “Why am I like this?” If that sounds familiar, you're in the right place.

In today's world with all the uncertainty, self-doubt, anxiety, big emotions or past traumas, it may seem impossible to turn things around. I can help you sort through it all by helping you build new foundations of self-reliance. Some of the techniques I use are EMDR for trauma, PTSD, and depression. EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing). For past trauma you might think your traumatic event happened a long time ago, but your body keeps a record of it. EMDR helps you find those memories that are stuck in your brain to process so they may get unstuck and stored away properly in your memory.

Many of the clients I work with are intelligent, self-aware, and exhausted—often navigating ADHD, autism, trauma, or long-standing burnout. They may feel overwhelmed by their nervous system or frustrated by therapy that stays only at the level of insight. My work emphasizes somatic processing and present-moment awareness to help clients understand how experiences live in the body, not just the mind. Together, we build sensory awareness and practical regulation skills that support clarity, agency, and sustainable well-being.

I specialize in complex trauma, anxiety, panic, and feelings of unreality and depersonalization, offering somatic, nervous system-focused therapy for adults who feel lost, overwhelmed, or stuck. Perhaps you look successful on the outside but feel frantic and exhausted on the inside. You may be struggling in relationships, on edge around others, and never fully at home in your body. You try hard to feel better, but nothing seems to shift. The good news is that the blinking lights of your symptoms are not flaws. They are adaptations, signals your nervous system learned to protect you when things once felt unsafe.

I am passionate about supporting adults who are committed to exploring how their lived experiences have shaped their relationships. I believe that our social connections profoundly influence who we are and how we engage with the world. As social beings, we have an innate need to feel loved and understood, but trauma can make these connections feel unsafe, leading to painful patterns in relationships and a deep sense of disconnection. In my work, I emphasize social healing, safety, and trust.

I am a playful and tender adult who does their best work with humans 2-12 and their caregivers. In the world of play therapy, toys are words, and young clients have a safe space to explore, and process in their own language. I also strive to support caregivers in the ebb and flow of raising young humans. Most of my clients are kids, but we are all children at heart, and I am open to seeing people of all ages. My hope is that we build a safe space together, and I will meet you where you are at, with radical acceptance and care.

Sometimes people hit a wall. Things that used to be satisfying, like career, relationships, or hobbies don't light them up the way they did when they were younger. All the sleepless nights worrying about "why?" just lead to a useless cycle. I help people, aged 20-99, who have "hit the wall" and are ready to find a healthy way through to the other side. My clients are sick to death of repeating the same unsatisfying patterns, but can't seem to stop or change. They feel stressed, ashamed, shut-down, or depressed and don't feel nearly enough love, joy, optimism, or creativity.

There are many unknowns in life, and each one is a learning opportunity. Erik Peaslee has seen people approach each life event and learn in a myriad of ways, and not one of them has been able to do it perfectly. He believes in the power of flaws and the strength to strive to be better. In an environment where judgment is nonexistent and we have the power to truly be authentic, change is not only possible, it is inevitable. Erik is proud to be a member of the community who can help provide that exact inevitability.
