I then use experiential techniques, coaching , and telling-it-like-it-is, to show you how to heal yourself.
Not accepting new clients... Why is change so hard? Because we are often not aware of what we do or why we do it. My specialty is diving deeply into the mind and helping you experience change at a fundamental level. This requires no special knowledge or skill on your part, only willingness to explore and an openness to what you might find. Just like your body, your mind knows how to heal itself. My role is to facilitate that process. I provide a safe environment, compassionate feedback, and supportive challenge when needed. I also offer Neurofeedback to improve concentration, sleep, anxiety and ADHD.

COUNSELING and COACHING -- it's a powerful 21st century approach, with tremendous therapeutic benefits and real world results. People frequently report, my therapist stares at me, and says or does nothing. This is classic 20th century therapy (it's old, and moderately effective). Our clients do not pay us to sit and do nothing -- they pay us to work as a team; making you the best you. Feel free to read client testimonials, and learn more about our services at: www.yourlifecounseling.com

If you need support moving through to the next, better phase of your life , let's talk about it.
Divorce/ high conflict relationships/ narcissistic abuse/ conflict coach /mediator If you are in a high conflict relationship and want to get out, you've come to the right place. My focus is on helping men and women develop the skills and strategies they need to disengage, deescalate, and move on with their lives. Endless conflict, "word salad" arguments, gaslighting, love bombing, walking on eggshells...these are all signs of emotional abuse and it can be so hard to move on from that. But that doesn’t mean empowering solutions aren’t waiting for you at the other end of it: I’ll walk that path to empowerment and freedom with you .

Let me assure you there are strategies, tools and safe spaces I will introduce you to that can change your life forever.
You are not alone, sister... Though you do your best to get up, get dressed (yoga pants count, ladies!) and smile while you uphold all your roles/responsibilities, you are actually living an anxious, panicked, stressed, overwhelmed and depressed life (or your daughter is). Your best version of YOU is locked away - longing. While you hope one day you'll just feel better, in the meantime you find yourself in the same place: struggling, anxious, frustrated, exhausted, detached, fearful, isolated, unsettled, desperate. I don't want you to settle for living this way any longer; there is hope and this does not have to be your "normal."

Regardless of where you find yourself, you deserve to feel supported, understood, and heard. Life brings us so many seasons. Some seasons can be challenging, making us question our purpose and worth. Other seasons feel permanent, leaving us feeling stuck and hopeless. Or maybe we experience a change, forcing us to shift and transition. My desire is to meet you exactly where you are, no matter the season you find yourself in. I hope to walk with you towards a place of growth as you realize your strengths and self-worth.

My teacher Brene Brown has said, "Owning our story and loving ourselves through the process is the bravest thing we will ever do." As a Psychologist with 35 + years in practice, I continue to study discoveries in neuroscience and human behavior, and while I'm glad of that, what I know is that counseling is about talking through the hard stuff - shame, blame, fear, anger, criticism, grief, forgiveness, and all the rest. Tell me your story in all of its messiness, and let's figure out what's to be done about it. I welcome adults 18 and up struggling with most of what life dishes up. I promise to be candid and compassionate.

Life Coaching Therapists

What can I expect from life coaching?

Clients and coaches will typically start by identifying the problem area(s) that the client hopes to address—then, the coach will help the client brainstorm potential solutions and explore concrete techniques to help the client attain their goals. Coaching is typically short-term and focused on finding solutions in the here and now, rather than exploring a client’s past. In addition to strategies aimed at the client’s specific concerns, coaches may encourage general stress management techniques such as meditation.

Can a life coach help treat anxiety?

Because the majority of life coaches are not licensed clinicians, they are not qualified to diagnose or treat anxiety. Anyone struggling with anxiety or another mental health condition should seek help from a licensed mental health practitioner. However, some coaching clients who struggle with subclinical anxiety report that working with their coach on other problems—such as career dissatisfaction or unhealthy habits—has a positive effect on their anxiety.

Can life coaching be done online?

Yes. While life coaching often happens in person, many coaches conduct sessions over the phone or via online platforms such as Zoom or Skype. Because life coaches are not subject to local licensing regulations in the same way that therapists are, they are able to see clients who live in other locations.

How long does life coaching last?

Life coaching tends to be a shorter-term process than therapy, though it does not always unfold over a specific period of time and is instead based on the coach’s or the client’s preferences. Coaching often takes place over three to 12 months but may be shorter or longer if necessary.
