If it feels like your mind is constantly buzzing and you can’t seem to turn the volume down you’re not alone. Maybe you’re exhausted from overthinking every little thing, feeling anxious for no reason, or replaying old moments that still hurt. Life can be messy, between stress, sadness, relationships, or old wounds that show up uninvited. It’s easy to feel lost or stuck. The good news? You don’t need to have it all figured out to start. I’m passionate about helping people who are struggling with anxiety, depression, and trauma, as well as those simply trying to reconnect with themselves after feeling burnt out, unseen, or disconnect

Many people struggle quietly with these same concerns, and support is available.

At the heart of my practice is the belief that you possess an incredible capacity for deep growth and healing. I provide a compassionate and collaborative space where you can explore the challenges that stem from anxiety, stress, trauma, and more. It's common to feel like something's missing, or that you're not quite good enough – constantly thinking happiness depends on getting "this" or waiting for "that." But this kind of thinking often leaves us on the receiving end of life, instead of actively shaping it.

You’ve spent years holding it all together—showing up for everyone else while quietly managing the chaos inside. Maybe you’re exhausted by constant worry, lingering tension, or swinging between feeling “fine” and completely overwhelmed. On the outside, life looks okay, but inside, peace feels out of reach. You’re not alone, and you don’t have to keep pushing through. Healing is possible. I help women and men unravel anxiety and trauma patterns that keep them stuck in survival mode.

Break Free from Relationship Patterns & Reclaim Your True Self…..You look like you have it together, but inside, something feels off. You give too much, lose your voice, and repeat the same relationship patterns, even when you see it happening. This often comes from emotionally unavailable relationships and years of people-pleasing. You’re not broken, you’re caught in a deeper pattern. I help women break these cycles, reconnect with themselves, and create lasting, embodied change.

"What once protected me now restrains me." "I want to discover a new version of me." "No more surviving, it’s time to live." Life can present many challenges that are beyond our control, and these experiences can deeply impact the way we view ourselves and the world around us. Over time, the thoughts and behaviors that once helped protect us may no longer serve our best interests, often holding us back from reaching our full potential. As a counselor, my goal is to support you in navigating these patterns such as trauma, grief, anxiety, and depression, helping find a path toward the most authentic version of yourself.

I provide therapy from a whole health perspective. This means understanding the mind-body connection. I want to help you better understand, recognize, process, cope, and heal from challenging emotions, thoughts, and behaviors. I use a person-centered approach which means I walk beside you in this journey, not ahead of you or behind you. Whether you are new to therapy or you are experienced with therapy, it can still feel overwhelming, uncomfortable, and hard to be vulnerable when meeting with a therapist and talking about your deepest feelings, thoughts, emotions, and behaviors.

I'm passionate about the mind-body connection, and I specialize in helping clients improve pain/symptom management; strengthen stress management, mood, and sleep; shift unhelpful patterns; and enhance overall wellbeing using evidence-based approaches including CBT and mindfulness.
I also specialize in helping people who are exhausted by insomnia get their sleep back on track and feel rested. I provide CBT-I, which is a short-term (usually about 6 sessions) treatment. It's a gold-standard, evidence-based treatment for insomnia that's as effective as sleep medication in the short term, and more effective in the long term.

How effective is treatment for insomnia?
The most effective treatments for insomnia are behavioral techniques that reduce anxiety, including anxiety about falling asleep, and allow the body’s natural cycles to be recalibrated. The most common treatment is cognitive behavioral therapy for insomnia (CBT-I), which researchers have found to be more useful than medication, with rates of success as high as 80 percent.

Are there specific medications for sleep problems?
There are many medications, both over-the-counter and prescription that treat sleep problems. Supplements such as melatonin are popular and may help, though there is little evidence that it is more effective than a placebo. Prescription medications such as zolpidem are sometimes prescribed.

Are there natural treatments for sleep problems?
There are many natural treatments for everyday sleep problems. Reducing blue-light emitting screens, setting a regular bedtime, regular exercise, reducing caffeine and nicotine consumption, and keeping the bedroom dark and cool at night are all lifestyle changes that can help those who struggle with sleep but may not reach the level of an insomnia diagnosis.

What’s the difference between having trouble falling asleep and insomnia?
Life events, stress, and anxiety can lead to sleepless nights for everyone from time to time. To be diagnosed with insomnia, a patient must experience trouble falling asleep, trouble remaining asleep, waking up too early, or non-restorative sleep at least three nights per week for at least one month. Sleep problems affect one-third to one-half of the population, while chronic insomnia affects about 10 to 15 percent of people.
