I work with adults navigating life transitions, anxiety, and feeling stuck, using a nervous-system-informed approach grounded in parts work ( IFS) and Polyvagal awareness.
You’ve spent years holding it all together—showing up for everyone else while quietly managing the chaos inside. Maybe you’re exhausted by constant worry, lingering tension, or swinging between feeling “fine” and completely overwhelmed. On the outside, life looks okay, but inside, peace feels out of reach. You’re not alone, and you don’t have to keep pushing through. Healing is possible. I help women and men unravel anxiety and trauma patterns that keep them stuck in survival mode.

"What once protected me now restrains me." "I want to discover a new version of me." "No more surviving, it’s time to live." Life can present many challenges that are beyond our control, and these experiences can deeply impact the way we view ourselves and the world around us. Over time, the thoughts and behaviors that once helped protect us may no longer serve our best interests, often holding us back from reaching our full potential. As a counselor, my goal is to support you in navigating these patterns such as trauma, grief, anxiety, and depression, helping find a path toward the most authentic version of yourself.

Have you tried talk therapy in the past but sense there's something deeper to move through? People often come to me already aware of their patterns but still feel the quiet ache of feeling disconnected from themselves. Many have done "the work" before and are ready for something that goes beneath the surface. That's where my work lies: getting to the root of your problems, not just managing the symptoms. I help you resolve your past traumas, reconnect with your body, regulate your nervous system, and build a life that feels true to you.

I draw from many types of therapy, but most closely align with IFS, mindfulness, the cognitive-emotional approaches, and EMDR.
Wouldn't it be nice to find some peace? We all have times when we feel off or at a loss, and uncertain about how to find our way out: trapped in the daily stressors, challenging relationships, frustrating patterns that seem stuck on repeat, anxious thoughts, self-doubt, triggers that make you feel out of control. These are all common parts of the human experience and what we need in those moments is a little grace, a space to feel seen and heard, and a warm soul to hold out a hand of hope. Whether you've experienced trauma, feel weighed down with depression, or stressed out by anxiety, a greater sense of peace can still be found.

I take an integrative, relational approach to therapy and specialize as a Level 2 trained Internal Family Systems ( IFS) therapist.
Broken relationships, painful losses, deep rejection, and unspeakable harm can leave lasting unrest and pain in your life. I view counseling as a pathway toward greater wholeness, vulnerability, and the courage to take meaningful risks in pursuit of a fuller life. While I practice within the same professional and ethical framework as other clinicians, my work is shaped by a Christian worldview that informs my understanding of healing and growth.

I utilize IFS parts work as well as spirituality to help people realize their full potential.
Now accepting new insurance clients!
I have a genuine passion for listening to people’s stories and helping them find a sense of purpose and belonging. I believe that we all have an inner desire to feel whole, loved, and connected—and that journey often starts with learning how to truly value and care for ourselves.
Therapy can be a meaningful step in that process. Our thoughts influence how we feel and behave, and by working through negative patterns together, we can uncover the strengths that already exist within you. My goal is to support you in building self-trust, confidence, and a greater openness to fully experience life.

I work best with four groups: 1. Young adults navigating faith, career, dating, life goals and trying to make wise choices about the future. 2. Married individuals who feel stuck in unhealthy patterns and worry their marriage is slipping away. 4. Anyone searching for a counselor who respects their Christian faith or libertarian/conservative worldview. If you’ve struggled to find a therapist who “gets” you, you may have just found a fit.

I believe our behaviors make sense. Even the patterns that leave us feeling anxious, disconnected, or stuck often began as intelligent ways of adapting to life’s experiences. Therapy isn’t about fixing what’s broken. It’s about understanding those patterns with curiosity, reconnecting with the strengths you already possess, and creating relationships—with yourself and others—that feel more authentic, secure, and alive.

Break Free from Relationship Patterns & Reclaim Your True Self…..You look like you have it together, but inside, something feels off. You give too much, lose your voice, and repeat the same relationship patterns, even when you see it happening. This often comes from emotionally unavailable relationships and years of people-pleasing. You’re not broken, you’re caught in a deeper pattern. I help women break these cycles, reconnect with themselves, and create lasting, embodied change.

Life can feel overwhelming at times. I work with individuals, couples, and families who are struggling with anxiety, depression, stress, and relationship challenges and want to feel more emotionally balanced and confident. While many people associate Marriage and Family Therapists with couples work, LMFTs are also trained to provide individual therapy for mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, life transitions, and personal stress.

If your mind feels like it’s constantly buzzing and you can’t seem to turn the volume down you’re not alone. Maybe you’re tired of overthinking every little thing, feeling anxious for no reason, or replaying old moments that still hurt. Life can get messy, between stress, sadness, relationships, or old wounds that show up uninvited. It’s easy to feel lost or stuck. The good news? You don’t need to have it all figured out to start. I’m passionate about helping people who are struggling with anxiety, depression, and trauma, as well as those simply trying to reconnect with themselves after feeling burnt out, unseen, or disconnected.

I provide therapy from a whole health perspective. This means understanding the mind-body connection. I want to help you better understand, recognize, process, cope, and heal from challenging emotions, thoughts, and behaviors. I use a person-centered approach which means I walk beside you in this journey, not ahead of you or behind you. Whether you are new to therapy or you are experienced with therapy, it can still feel overwhelming, uncomfortable, and hard to be vulnerable when meeting with a therapist and talking about your deepest feelings, thoughts, emotions, and behaviors.

What is Internal Family Systems therapy?
Internal Family Systems (IFS) is a type of talk therapy that focuses on sub-personalities, or “families,” within a person, which may be made up of wounded parts and unpleasant emotions like anger and shame. These sub-personalities can come into conflict with each other and with an individual’s core Self, leaving the person feeling detached from positive traits such as the “8 C’s” of confidence, calmness, creativity, clarity, curiosity, courage, compassion, and connectedness. By healing a patient’s wounded parts, a therapist aims to restore balance and bring on positive change.
How does Internal Family Systems therapy work?
An IFS therapist will work with a patient to identify their particular sub-personalities, recognize the emotions powering them, and release them. By doing so, the patient should become more able to address any underlying problems their sub-personalities may have been trying to protect them from. Ultimately, a patient discovers ways to manage internal and external conflicts on their own, through techniques such as relaxation exercises, journaling, and making charts depicting the relationships between their core Self and their distinct parts.
Does Internal Family Systems therapy work?
IFS therapy has been shown to help people address conditions such as depression, anxiety, panic, fears and phobias, trauma, and substance use disorders. Some research has also found that it can help individuals deal with symptoms of physical health conditions like rheumatoid arthritis, such as pain, everyday functioning, depressive feelings, and low self-compassion. There are some conditions for which IFS treatment, specifically discussions of one’s “parts,” may be less appropriate, such as schizophrenia or other states that involve psychosis or paranoia.
How long does Internal Family Systems therapy take?
As with most forms of talk therapy, there is no set duration or end point for IFS therapy. After becoming comfortable with a therapist and the core concepts of IFS, some patients quickly make progress. While experiences vary, most will find that it is a relatively longer-term therapy, involving months and sometimes years of sessions.
