I am a creative and playful EMDR therapist who helps kids and adults with trauma and dissociation. Young people find my approach helps them work through their anger and worry with play and creative activities. Adults seeking relief from their worst experiences, like domestic violence and childhood abuse, get gentle and steady guidance into healing. I help people who have emotional outbursts, panic, dissociation, shutting down, and younger-than-their-age behavior. Families who want to be free of trauma, conflict, and worry will find a fun, caring, and accepting approach from me.

If you’ve ever felt like something deeper is going on beneath the surface, and talking about it hasn’t fully helped, you’re not alone. You might feel anxious, disconnected, or stuck in patterns you don’t fully understand. Maybe you have trouble sleeping, feel emotionally numb, or find relationships harder than they “should” be. I offer EMDR, Equine-Assisted therapy, and Deep Brain Reorienting as effective modalities for treating trauma. I often see people who experience complex trauma and dissociative disorders. We may work together virtually or out with the horses. I work with adults, children, and adolescents.

Many people seeking therapy are deeply self aware, yet still feel disconnected from themselves in ways insight alone has not resolved. Others are exhausted from years of surviving difficult relationships, chronic stress, masking, or harmful systems that dismissed their experiences. Inner Archive works with adults and older adolescents (ages 16+) navigating dissociation, chronic pain/illness, identity rupture, and complex trauma. Therapy focuses on helping clients connect with themselves in ways that feel sustainable, embodied, and meaningful rather than performative or surface level.

High-Achieving Professionals Attachment Trauma & Anxiety — I work with high-achieving professionals who appear successful on the outside but struggle internally with anxiety, relationship difficulties, and the lasting effects of childhood trauma. Many are adult children of emotionally immature or abusive parents and may have histories of emotional, physical, or sexual abuse. In therapy, we focus on understanding how early attachment experiences shaped current patterns and develop new ways of relating to yourself and others that support greater emotional security, authenticity, and lasting change.

I support individuals in their desire to heal and improve their quality of life. Sessions are focused on the development of concrete skills to manage emotions and thought patterns which influence our behaviors in conjunction with EMDR. Clients have described me as straightforward and "no nonsense". I create an active healing environment, more than just talk therapy. The goal is always to achieve the ability to function without therapy in the most effective and short term manner.

Do you feel stuck, overwhelmed, stressed, unhappy? Are you experiencing a change, like becoming a new Mom, moving to a new state, getting a new job, or are worried about your drug and alcohol use? My passion is working with clients to overcome and manage life changes and transitions as seamlessly as possible. I understand there are challenges - fear of change is a given - yet there is nothing more healing than connecting in a safe, non-judgemental environment, where growth and potential are encouraged. I would consider myself priveledged to be a part of the your healing journey.

Ideal client? I think of the person who’s tired of wearing a mask. Maybe they’re feeling grief, anger, or stuck in behaviors that keep hurting their relationships. Many of the people I work with have never had a space to be honest without feeling judged, weak, or misunderstood. In our work, you aren't seen as weak; you are capable, and your struggles don't go unappreciated. I bring honesty, directness, and a sense of rawness to our work. My clients are routinely career-accomplished, yet wildly unsatisfied in personal relationships. I welcome anyone tired of the same old grind and ready to push themselves to try something new.

Do you ever feel like you’re knee deep in…stuff? Now you’re here, shopping for a therapist, which is probably not how you’d like to be spending your time (that Netflix won’t watch itself). Let's be honest, seeing all those letters after someone's name looks impressive but what good is alphabet soup if that person doesn’t “get” you. You need someone who you can be real with, who'll be there with you through "the suck." I'm an AF veteran who's been through “the suck” many times before and am now here to help guide you through this journey.

Dissociative Disorders (DID) Therapists
How does therapy for dissociative disorders work?
Dissociation may be triggered by stress or other upsetting circumstances, and therapy can address the traumatic events at the core of an individual’s dissociation. Understanding why a person may dissociate can help the therapist and the individual come up with alternative methods of coping. A person with a dissociative disorder may get stuck on negative thinking, for example, and treatment like Cognitive behavioral therapy is a gold standard for breaking such thinking. And dialectical behavior therapy, for example, can help a person manage their anguish through better emotion regulation.

Which therapies are best for dissociative disorders?
Specific approaches used by professionals include cognitive behavioral, dialectical behavior, psychodynamic, schema therapies, among others. Cognitive behavioral and dialectical behavior therapies are two widely used therapies that can help individuals with painful memories and past traumas. These therapies work to integrate an individual's different identities into one person.

Are there specific medications for dissociation?
There are no specific medications prescribed for dissociative disorders. However, psychosis, depression, anxiety, and/or panic often co-occur in dissociative disorders. A psychiatrist may prescribe medications for any accompanying symptom—which may include antipsychotics like aripiprazole, antidepressants like selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors, or anti-anxiety drugs like benzodiazepines.

How often and how long are therapy sessions?
Like any type of therapy, sessions depend on the individual. Patients may see improvement within 15 to 20 sessions, at an average of 50 minutes per session, others may opt for 20 to 30 sessions over, perhaps, a six-month period. There are still other patients, especially those who have co-occurring conditions like depression and anxiety, who may need to continue sessions for up to 12 to 18 months.
