I started working in the mental health field 25 years ago. I believe in the importance of a therapeutic relationship that is built on trust and safety as my clients develop more insight about themselves and their relationships by applying evidence-based treatment modalities. I approach therapy from a trauma-informed and strength-based lens utilizing CBT, Mindfulness, Internal Family Systems, EMDR, and Play Therapy.
My specialty is children, adolescents and adults struggling with emotional/behavioral issues, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, and life issues. When indicated, I also teach social skills and social awareness. I also work with adults dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma and life changes. I offer online counseling for young adults and adults.
