Relationships are hard, and all couples fight. But you and your partner fight all the time. Your relationship is struggling, and you're not sure how to fix it. You don’t want to get divorced, but something in your marriage needs to change. You’re tired of the constant stress and conflict, and you worry that nothing can make it better. Love doesn’t come with an instruction manual, but it doesn’t have to be this hard. If you’re struggling to find the right things to say or the right things to do to save your marriage, I can help. I help couples stop fighting and start communicating.
I am a body positive therapist working with clients who struggle with body shame. In addition to body image and self-esteem issues, I also work with individuals who are experiencing anxiety, depression, midlife and other transitional difficulties, nightmares, communication issues, and on-going or past trauma. I use a trauma-informed Jungian-based psychotherapeutic approach when working with my clients.
I believe in looking at the whole person including a bio/psycho/social model. This encompasses individual, family, gender, genetic, cultural, environmental, and spiritual/religious interrelationships unique to each person's life.
“How can I reconnect intimately with my partner?” “How do we navigate having different levels of sexual desire?” “How do we rebuild trust after it’s been broken?” “Who am I and what does that mean?” These are all questions I have heard many iterations of in my therapy office, so if you’ve found yourself asking some of these same questions, you’re not alone. Whether you're tackling rebuilding trust, cultivating intimacy, exploring sexuality, deconstructing harmful self-narratives, or developing communication skills, it is an honor to walk alongside you during this journey, as you invest in yourself and your relationships.

I offer a positive, nurturing relationship where you can truly feel understood. Counseling can help you tap into your inner strength and resilience; to heal from pain and heartache. You can discover the power you have within yourself through the power of your MIND, BODY and SPIRIT. Working together you will regain a sense of hope for yourself and your future. Hello my name is Rich Audsley, I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, and I specialize in working with couples and families. The family is a system, much like the human body. Just as the entire body suffers when one of its parts fails to work in harmony with the rest of the body, the entire family is distressed when one of its members is lost or is "out of sync." Families and couples sometimes need help understanding how their particular system is working or not working.
Does it feel like you're consumed with overwhelming anxiety all the time? I get it - your scheduled is jam-packed from sunup to sundown (hell, you even schedule in when you're going to shower) and you STILL can't say no to people. Now, engaging in rest and fun is uncomfortable because "you're not doing enough" or you're "unproductive." Perhaps those 1 to 2 drinks at happy hour has turned into finishing a whole bottle of wine alone - still battling with the thought that you're "not good enough." Maybe now your relationships are starting suffer. You desperately want to be close to someone, but seem to reactively push them away...
I am a graduate of Regis University in Denver, Colorado and hold a Masters in Counseling. I am a Registered Play Therapist candidate. I practice from a Humanistic perspective and feel that all people are resourceful, imaginative, and capable of growth. It is my view that individuals have answers within and the therapeutic relationship assists individuals in finding those answers. I help to create a safe, accepting, and non-judgmental atmosphere that fosters a partnership between client and therapist in which the client can explore and navigate life’s many challenges.
