I am married with 2 adult children and 3 grandchildren. I previously worked for 30 Years with CDOC and retired in 2016 as the manager of a sub-program. One of the most influential assignments I had was in Forensics for the CDOC. I enjoyed it and was incentivized to finish my education in mental health. I received my master's in 1993. I then managed the maximum administrative segregation portion of a forensic prison. Once I retired I transitioned back to community mental health. I provided group and individual sessions to half-way house inmates. I also started working as a mentor and mental health coach with adolescents.

Welcome, and thank you for taking the first steps towards healing. I chose this line of work to provide others with the skills they need for walking their life path with their heads held high and love in their hearts. At some point we are all given difficult, transformative opportunities. I would be grateful to assist in honoring life's painful experiences and integrating them as they transform you into something greater. As a yoga teacher, therapist, and spiritual seeker who specializes in working with women I use healing modalities that shift the mind, body, and soul. Note: all sessions are online.

At times, your thoughts and emotions may have felt like an unrelenting storm. Whether it’s trauma, anxiety, or depression, together we can learn how to ride the waves rather than be pulled under. Each person carries a distinct story and perspective, leaving their own imprint on the world. Challenges are part of the process, but feeling stuck doesn’t have to be.

When it comes to therapy, I try to make the process as applicable as possible for the client in order to make them feel comfortable. A lot of the clients I see are working on difficult transitions in life, such as grief and loss, coping with stress from daily life, or working through their past. The clients I see are all motivated to not let their past, daily stressors, or negative habits define who they are! We will work through these issues in order to gain awareness, generate acceptance, and then take appropriate action in order to get the most out of life. I will go at your pace to allow for both comfort and development.

Everyone has a story to tell. Sometimes we need someone to listen to our story and bear witness to it. Other times we need someone to help us understand the events in our story, or assist us as we write the next chapter in our story. No matter our age, we each have the ability to learn from our stories and create a path towards our desired future.

I think most of us struggle with the same needs: that our lives matter; that we know our life is valuable, that we bring blessings into the world; that we live (and love) toward a calling of purpose; that we have meaningful connections in community; and that we live a life of love. Whether we are trying to overcome or let go of an old story, learn new boundaries, find love, or find our true path, holistic therapy weaves together both a pragmatic tending to the challenges that are here now, and a sacred awareness that we are part of something bigger, more meaningful - even in our suffering - than we could have imagined.

Maybe you've caught yourself thinking you should be over this by now. If that thought has crossed your mind, you're not alone — and you're not broken. Grief doesn't follow a timeline. Chronic illness rewrites the life you planned. Transitions can shake your sense of self in ways that are hard to explain to others. Maybe you've been holding it together for so long that you've lost touch with who you are beneath it all. I work with women who are ready to stop measuring their pain against a timeline and start building a life that feels aligned, embodied, and true to them. You deserve more than just getting through it.

Many of my clients have spent years holding things together while quietly carrying the weight of trauma, anxiety, relationship struggles, grief, or self-doubt. They often describe feeling stuck in patterns they understand intellectually but can't seem to change. I work with adults seeking more than symptom management- they want lasting healing, deeper self-understanding, and healthier relationships. Together, we create a collaborative, compassionate space where meaningful change becomes possible.

What is play therapy? I believe children and teens best express emotion in the language of play, imagery and artistic expression. My job is to interpret this play and facilitate their positive mental health and well-being. This kind of play builds resilience, promotes relief from anxiety, and stress, and brings overall well-being into everyday living.

Jungian Therapists
How does Jungian therapy work?
Jungian therapy, also called analytical psychology, focuses on a patient’s inner experiences and unconscious mind. Exploring a person’s unconscious mind can be achieved through several means, including the analysis of memories and dreams, and through physical exercises, such as art, dance, and word association.
How long does Jungian therapy last?
Jungian therapy is an intensive treatment type. Because its goal is to understand a person as a whole, including the unconscious aspects of them, treatment can range from months to years. Since patients learn the theory behind Jungian therapy during treatment, they can also practice its tenets throughout life after therapy sessions have completed.
Is Jungian therapy effective?
According to studies, many patients find success with Jungian therapy, and the century-old treatment has a devoted following. Researchers note that the therapy is particularly useful in improving relationships, self-esteem, anxiety, and depression. Improvements in problem areas seem to continue even after the end of Jungian therapy, as people are able to continue working on themselves using the tools they’ve learned during the treatment.
Is Jungian therapy evidence-based?
Jungian therapy is theory-based, derived from the theories of Carl Jung, a Swiss psychiatrist often called one of the fathers of psychology, along with Sigmund Freud. Jung developed his theories from observing the problems of patients, and developed many theories of how the mind works. Subsequent psychological research has determined that Jungian therapy can lead to significant improvement in most patients.
