If you've landed here, something is probably telling you that you're ready for things to feel different — even if you're not sure exactly what that looks like yet. That instinct matters, and I'd love to help you follow it. I work with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, and that hard-to-name feeling of being disconnected from yourself or others. You might feel overwhelmed, stuck, emotionally exhausted, or like you've been in survival mode. Wherever you're starting from, all versions of you are welcome and you don't have to do this alone.

My goal is to create an authentic and accommodating relationship between client and therapist. I incorporate informed and affirming practices to create a safe space for exploration, whether that be for identity, emotional, sensory, trauma-related, or relational. I aim to empower her clients to recognize their own strengths, attributes, interests, and ability to heal. It is important to me that people of all abilities become unashamed of who they are. I find delight in helping people synthesize old and new information about themselves to create a sense of well-being and joy.

Do you find yourself overthinking, feeling like nothing you do is ever quite enough? Or maybe you're constantly putting others first, leaving you feeling drained and disconnected from yourself? I work with people who describe themselves as perfectionists, high achievers, and people-pleasers. Those closest to you might describe you as dependable, driven, considerate of others, and completely put together — great qualities that can also come with hidden costs of feeling overwhelmed, exhausted, and empty.

It feels like you’re living with a roommate instead of a partner. You’re tired of the same circular arguments that leave you both feeling exhausted and misunderstood. It seems like no matter how hard you try to explain your side, it only leads to more blame, defensiveness, or a heavy, painful silence. You want to feel seen again. You want to remember why you chose each other in the first place. I help couples move out of these "stuck" patterns. We won’t just talk about your problems; we will identify the underlying wounds and fears that trigger the conflict.

I blend Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and Internal Family Systems ( IFS) to help you understand not just what's happening in your relationships, but why.
You love each other a lot, but sometimes find yourselves stuck in a confusing pattern of conflict or tension. One of you shuts down, the other pushes to resolve things, and before you know it, you’re both feeling hurt and disconnected. Whether you’re adjusting to living together, navigating the stress of early parenthood, or rebuilding after a rupture, these patterns can leave you feeling fearful about your future. It can be painful when your closest relationship feels hard, but you don’t have to stay here. In relationship and marriage counseling, we will change these patterns and rebuild the confidence and connection you long for.

The main types of treatment I use fall in line with Internal Family Systems, Narrative, Emotionally Focused, and ACT.
We are all becoming. Becoming more confident, more weighed down by the stressors of life and our relationships, more independent, and more unsure of our identity or place in the world. And the most confusing part: all of those ‘becomings’ are happening at the same time. How are we able to celebrate the joys in our worlds while feeling tied to pressures that are both external to us and internal, hitting close to vulnerable wounds? Welcome to Becoming Therapy Services. By engaging in open and collaborative dialogue, we will use tools to help discover the stories that deserve a voice and parts of you that exist beyond the surface.

Hello! I'm hoping to share space with folks who are interested in moving towards their challenges with slowness, curiosity, and self-compassion. I especially enjoy working with other queer and trans BIPOC folks + deep feelers. I aim to veer away from a medical approach, and rather work to support with deepening understanding of self and others, while exploring how to live in ways that feel meaningful. I typically work with folks around familial trauma, identity exploration, depression and anxiety. You know more about you than I ever will, so I try to support folks in listening/trusting their inner wisdom.

Starting therapy can feel overwhelming — especially for teens, and adults who may not know what to expect. Maybe talking about your feelings feels too vulnerable, or maybe you've tried therapy before and it didn’t feel like the right fit. You’re not alone. I work with people who are hesitant, anxious, or unsure where to begin — and I offer a different kind of space to explore healing.

Many of my clients are brought to our work by longing. The longing for more soulful and nourishing relationships. For wholeness and sovereignty in the face of trauma, loss, or a monumental life transition. For deeper purpose and belonging. Maybe you’re not sure what you long for. All you know is that something is off, and that you want to feel safe and fully alive within your own skin. You are committed to your own growth, to relating to yourself and others from a place of wholeness, and you are looking for a container that both supports and challenges you to keep meeting yourself and Life in new ways.

Internal Family Systems (IFS) Therapists
What is Internal Family Systems therapy?
Internal Family Systems (IFS) is a type of talk therapy that focuses on sub-personalities, or “families,” within a person, which may be made up of wounded parts and unpleasant emotions like anger and shame. These sub-personalities can come into conflict with each other and with an individual’s core Self, leaving the person feeling detached from positive traits such as the “8 C’s” of confidence, calmness, creativity, clarity, curiosity, courage, compassion, and connectedness. By healing a patient’s wounded parts, a therapist aims to restore balance and bring on positive change.

How does Internal Family Systems therapy work?
An IFS therapist will work with a patient to identify their particular sub-personalities, recognize the emotions powering them, and release them. By doing so, the patient should become more able to address any underlying problems their sub-personalities may have been trying to protect them from. Ultimately, a patient discovers ways to manage internal and external conflicts on their own, through techniques such as relaxation exercises, journaling, and making charts depicting the relationships between their core Self and their distinct parts.

Does Internal Family Systems therapy work?
IFS therapy has been shown to help people address conditions such as depression, anxiety, panic, fears and phobias, trauma, and substance use disorders. Some research has also found that it can help individuals deal with symptoms of physical health conditions like rheumatoid arthritis, such as pain, everyday functioning, depressive feelings, and low self-compassion. There are some conditions for which IFS treatment, specifically discussions of one’s “parts,” may be less appropriate, such as schizophrenia or other states that involve psychosis or paranoia.

How long does Internal Family Systems therapy take?
As with most forms of talk therapy, there is no set duration or end point for IFS therapy. After becoming comfortable with a therapist and the core concepts of IFS, some patients quickly make progress. While experiences vary, most will find that it is a relatively longer-term therapy, involving months and sometimes years of sessions.
