You deserve an expansive and liberated life. Many of my clients are exploring what it means to be their most authentic self, and how to deal with the barriers that stand in their way. They're looking for a place to be seen and understood, and to be able to let down their guard. I see clients who are navigating identity, sexuality, and belonging; those with trauma histories, anxiety, and depression, looking for relief and a deeper healing that takes them to a place of ease and fulfillment. They may have tried other solutions, but feel stuck and eager for a lasting and meaningful change.

Are you an athlete who struggles with anxiety before a big game, as you walk onto the practice field, or even as you sit at home? Or perhaps you are someone who is looking to better your mental well-being, improve your sleep, sharpen your focus, or decrease your anxiety and/or depressive symptoms. Whatever the objective may be, I can help you visualize and achieve your goals through neurofeedback and counseling.

I'm Gwenivere Weiss (she/her). I bring a style that is warm, straightforward, and authentic. I work primarily with individual women and femmes with themes of anxiety, moving beyond trauma, sex, sexuality, and finding ways through relationship challenges. Clients often come to me when they are aware of the patterns that don't work anymore, and are ready to dive into therapy to find a different way to relate to their challenges. I also offer an 8 week online Sexual Health Mindfulness program for women with low sexual desire, who want to learn in a group environment and dive deeper on their journey of sexual well being.

Being a human is tough, isn’t it? You might be feeling lost, hurt, frustrated, sad, or anxious. You may be experiencing a life transition, loss of a loved one, low self-esteem, or postpartum difficulties. Or, you might not be entirely sure what led you to seek therapy—you just know you want to feel better. Having the courage to turn toward your pain and start healing is a remarkable step in embracing the messiness of life and finding your peace within it.

Are you experiencing symptoms of anxiety or depression from living in this difficult world? Perhaps you've experienced your own personal trauma, or are seeking to understand and find joy in identities that the majority population "others" or discriminates against. I enjoy working with people across the lifespan, especially those in the queer community who are seeking relief and are ready to explore ways to show up with more embodied joy and liberation. As a queer therapist, I am also dedicated to changing the stigma around mental health from "what is wrong with you", to "what happened to you?"

At various points in our lives, we encounter critical junctures where our past approaches, efforts, and familiar patterns no longer yield the desired results. This shift may arise from significant changes, such as losing a job, ending a relationship, or simply reaching the limits of our current circumstances. At these moments, it becomes essential to infuse new energy into our lives to inspire and provoke meaningful change. we often find ourselves at these crossroads when our inner selves are urging us to embrace something more powerful and authentic. It is through these crises that we discover the true call for transformation

Seeking therapy can be a vulnerable experience, from listening to your instincts in finding the right match for you, to trusting in your own innate capacity for growth, healing, and change. My approach to therapy stems from a humanistic and systemic lens in which I believe the uniqueness of each individual informs their approach to and capacity for growth, choice, and overall well-being. Operating within a systemic lens allows me to not only look wholly at an individual but experience alongside that individual the world around them.
