Let's focus on strengths! Whether you are dealing with relationship issues, work stress, finding your life path... or deeper concerns such as depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, or neurocognitive difficulties... I can provide education, emotional skills, coping strategies, and a compassionate ear. As a CBT and ACT therapist, I use therapy and skill building, looking at the interplay between our beliefs and ideas, our experiences and environment, and our values and choices in life. I also address biological concerns such as sleep, neuropsychological functioning, breathing, and fight or flight responses.

Using science-rooted testing, I uncover the "why" behind your child’s challenges.
Does it feel like your child is navigating a world that wasn't quite built for them? Maybe you see their brilliance and their kindness, but you also see them struggle in ways that may be hard to understand. You’ve tried different parenting strategies, met with teachers, and spent late nights wondering why things feel harder for your child than they seem to be for others. You aren’t looking to "fix" who they are, you are looking for a roadmap to help them thrive. You want to stop the guesswork and finally understand how your child’s brain is wired so you can provide the specific support and advocacy they deserve.

Life often tries to put us into boxes of how we “should” be, and it can be hard to know who we truly are. I believe everyone has the capacity for growth, healing, and deeper self-understanding. I walk alongside you—listening without judgment, honoring your unique qualities, and helping you set meaningful goals. Together we’ll uncover the “why” behind patterns, break cycles that no longer serve you, and find steps to build on strengths, approach challenges differently, and live more fully. I offer evaluations for ADHD, anxiety patterns, Autism/ADHD in adults, and giftedness to provide clarity and strategies that support your goals.

Depression is one of the most abundant mental disorders in society. Sometimes it stems from neurotransmitters not working right, but usually, it is because of a set of underlying issues. Testing and Evaluation Therapists
What is a psychological evaluation?
A psychological evaluation is a test or assessment most commonly administered by a trained psychologist that is intended to be used in the diagnosis of specific psychological conditions, such as ADHD, mood disorders, personality disorders, dementia or Alzheimer's, and learning disabilities. Psychological evaluations can help inform future treatment decisions and help direct clients to professionals and resources that may be most helpful, such as potential therapy options or additional school supports.

Can psychological evaluations be done on individuals of any age group?
Psychological evaluations are conducted on individuals of all ages and can be beneficial to individuals across the lifespan. However, specific types of evaluations may be most frequently conducted on individuals of certain age groups. For instance, ADHD or learning disability testing is often conducted in children ages 4-12--the period of time when ADHD symptoms most commonly emerge. In contrast, cognitive functioning assessments, such as those conducted to diagnose dementia, are most commonly conducted in elderly individuals. Clients should ensure that the psychologist they are seeing has specific expertise in conducting evaluations in their age group to ensure they receive a correct diagnosis.

How long does a psychological evaluation take?
Psychological evaluations vary in length depending on the test being administered and the goals of the evaluation; however, most evaluations are 2-4 hours in length. Some evaluations may take as long as 8 hours but can often be spread across multiple days. In some cases, clients will also attend an intake session or interview, which can help the psychologist assess client functioning outside of the testing environment.

How should I prepare for a psychological test and evaluation?
Individuals do not need to prepare for psychological tests or evaluations in most cases, as they are intended to measure a client's baseline psychological status without test-specific preparation. However, clients may want to brainstorm a list of questions for their psychologist about any tests they are receiving prior to the assessment, including what potential outcomes may mean for what next steps the client should take.
