Finding the right support shouldn’t be so difficult. It can be really challenging just to identify all of the relevant factors in why we seek treatment. When we are ready to make change because something is not working, there is not always a simple answer or one intervention. Often we need to look from multiple perspectives and approach things in different ways to solve life’s complicated issues.
I have extensive experience working with clients, spouses and family members of those with substance issues, narcissistic or antisocial traits. Internal boundaries, expectations and identifying core values is at the heart of this work.

My heart is particularly drawn to supporting neurodivergent individuals, members of the LGBTQ+ community, individuals recovering from addiction, navigating sobriety/moderation, and/or wanting to further explore their relationship with substance use, clients wanting to heal from trauma, including complex and relational traumas, and anyone navigating grief, loss, death, and end-of-life concerns, including death anxiety. I also regularly support clients dealing with anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, communication issues, and identity exploration.
I work with adults, adolescents, and couples.

I work with high-achieving couples and individuals who look functional on paper but privately live in a state of overwhelm, burnout, chronic stress, or nervous system exhaustion. I look at the whole person with a blend of somatic, narrative, mindful, and psychoeducational tools to help you feel less hijacked by your nervous system, more connected to yourself, your relationships, and your life.

Navigating the world can be filled with complexity. There are internal and external struggles that we all deal with on the daily. Sometimes we don’t have access to all our available resources in body, mind, and spirit for one reason or another. Despite our best efforts to tackle these challenges on our own, we can get cut off from ourselves, our partners, our family, and/or our communities. Do you want to feel connected, heard and supported? Do you need a place that you can feel safe and just be yourself? Sometimes it’s hard to be honest with ourselves and confront the things that scare us. Sometimes we need someone to help.

I work best with people who understand intellectually that what they're doing isn't working but can’t seem to change emotionally or behaviorally. I'm a borderline personality disorder specialist and also work with ADHD, anxiety, and personality-related challenges.
My approach is direct and practical. We'll work together to understand what’s driving the patterns, build skills, and create sustainable change. Therapy is about learning how to move through life with greater flexibility, self-awareness, and confidence.

While I specialize in treating trauma and practicing sex therapy, I meet my clients where they are in helping them achieve their goals. Ultimately, my goal is for you to feel empowered, understood, and more connected to yourself and others. Together, we’ll navigate your path towards healing from sexual, relationship, religious, or medical trauma, improving communication, and building the intimate life you desire. Hey there! I'm glad you're here. As a therapist, I believe deeply in the healing power of connection and relationship, and I think therapy is all about finding the right relational and therapeutic fit. My core philosophy emphasizes empathy, unconditional positive regard, and compassion, and my top priority is to establish safety, security, and trust within our working relationship, as the quality and strength of that relationship has proven to be the greatest predictor of achieving positive outcomes. Within the container of this relationship, I will offer support, guidance, and curiosity as we explore your concerns.

You've read every book, downloaded every app, and still can't figure out why you keep ending up in the same place. It's not because you're lazy or broken. It's because the support you've tried wasn't built for how your brain actually works.

3/04 update: currently accepting new clients both in person and virtually. You have a lot of the “right” boxes checked, but it sure doesn’t feel that way. Instead there is a heaviness, a sense of discontentment, and way too much time in your head. All that thinking doesn’t solve the problem, it just repeats the same things, the same worries. The more time you spend in your head the less time you are spending with the people, and things you love. You’re not enjoying things the way you want, and things are feeling disconnected. The things that are supposed to help just don’t seem to be working here.

My specialty is helping individuals struggling with anxiety, including generalized anxiety, medical anxiety, panic attacks, OCD, phobias, and social anxiety. My approach is based in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), which works by changing your relationship with anxiety itself rather than trying to reduce or control it. Anxiety is pretty hard to directly control, but more importantly, you don’t need to control or reduce it to start living a more meaningful life. In fact, focusing on reducing anxiety often just means you are focusing more on your anxiety. Let’s try something different.

I tend to lean into adult clients that are dealing with transitions, relationship challenges, or trying to figure out what’s next. Our work focuses on getting clear on what’s actually going on, identifying what isn’t working, and making practical changes that feel realistic and sustainable.

Life offers us all challenges, and sometimes those challenges may seem unbearable or especially unique. Some of us experience difficulties from the time we are little children- trauma, abuse, neglect. We each have unique abilities and strengths. Sometimes, we have trouble accessing our strengths, but you have gifts in your being that are your gifts and strengths alone. My goal in working with you is to act as a catalyst -to encourage you to find your talents, abilities, and strengths that will serve you in coping with whatever difficulty life has given you.

I believe one of the best, but scariest, things you can do is take the first steps towards healing, and I would be honored to take those steps with you. Whether you’re wading through anxiety, navigating intrusive and overwhelming thoughts, or simply living a stressful, human life, my goal is to create a space where you feel truly understood. You’re the expert on your own experience, and I’m here to support you. Therapy should be a place where you feel safe and comfortable—but I also believe growth happens when we gently push ourselves out of our comfort zone. And I hope we can laugh together about it along the way!

I'm so glad you are here. My practice offers an individualized approach that focuses on empowering you. Is life filled with stress? Do you feel anxious, unhappy, or just exhausted all the time? Trauma and wounds impact all of us, and repair work is a process. Feeling stuck in the past or a painful experience is something that does not have to be the way you walk through the world. I believe that healing takes place when we feel understood. My hope is to guide you through a process with gaining a sense of control on your journey and to create an upward momentum.

I work with adults at life’s thresholds who are feeling stuck, carrying old wounds, or longing for deeper meaning. Therapy becomes a space to pause, explore your inner landscape, and navigate the edges of who you’ve been and who you’re becoming. Together we illuminate patterns, open new possibilities, and create a life that feels more authentic, connected, and aligned.
