You’re no stranger to hard work and accomplishments but something still feels off. You find yourself replaying conversations and situations and how you responded, feeling upset that you didn’t just say what you really wanted to. It’s exhausting having to constantly read the room and adjust yourself to others’ expectations especially when you want something different for yourself. A part of you knows you’re ready to feel more self-assured, emotionally regulated, and respond in ways that feel more right inside. Most of all you’re ready to stop walking that tightrope and feel more spacious and steady. I want to help you get there.

Hi there! I get it...life can be overwhelming. As a Filipina-American with other intersectional identities, I can relate to how difficult it is to balance cultural expectations, family dynamics, and personal identity all while trying to “keep it all together”. One day, you feel like you're "too much" or "not enough”, and then the next day you question what you even enjoy. Maybe you've tried jumping into different careers. Maybe you've read every self-help book on the planet. Maybe you've felt that your self-worth depended on your productivity or external validation. If any of this sounds like you, I think we might be a good fit.

As first generation to Indian parents, I saw my parents struggle with cultural differences. They were raised with similar upbringings; however, their beliefs about relationships were starkly different. I never witnessed them talking about their struggles, but rather, they seemed to view their relationship as what was to be expected. Witnessing this relationship dynamic taught me the importance of bringing differences to the forefront. We get so many messages about who we are supposed to be from family, friends, and society. Relationships bring two people with multi-faceted identities together, therefore, it's only natural for relationship issues to arise.

I identify as a Togolese immigrant, daughter, sister, fur-mom, and wife in an interracial marriage. These identities influence how I show up as a therapist and constantly evolve each day. The challenges I have faced have given me both the insight and desire to work with individuals, couples, and families through their hurdles and to help them find what is and isn’t their story. I believe in the idea of assisting individuals, couples & families of different backgrounds to find their path instead of feeling stuck and tied down to societal expectations or their past maladaptive patterns.

Many times, life transitions and unresolved trauma can make us feel like there is no way out. It can be overwhelming. But it does not have to be like that. As your therapist, I can provide a supportive nonjudgmental space for you to explore and resolve issues related to past trauma or present moment challenges.

If you are looking to overcome everyday life issues, you might wanna come talk to me. If you identify as BIPOC, LGBTQ+, TGNC, a parent, a person living with HIV, and/or a teenager aged 15+, live at any intersection of the above identities, or just want a good provider, come talk to me. If you are in need to actively work on your issues and are looking to have a brave space where you can work on your concerns, I can provide that. Therapy is a place for you to be able to not only vent, but also a space for you to evolve beyond the current form of yourself into your more idealized self. I would be honored to help you through that.

I work with adults, families, and children navigating significant life transitions — moments where life feels uncertain, stuck, or hard to put into words. They may be processing grief, identity shifts, relationship changes, or cultural experiences that traditional therapy has not fully reached. Are you curious, open to trying something different, and ready to engage beyond conversation? I welcome all kinds of minds and bodies and I provide therapy in English and Spanish.

If lifelong repetitive themes come up in the course of therapy (e.g., racial identity, loss, trauma), I will work with the client to see if she/he/they want to try to work through these patterns of relational behavior.

You know the pattern. You know where it came from. So why the hell are you still stuck in it?
You’re perceptive, accomplished and probably pretty self-aware. You can explain the power dynamics at work, understand why your partner reacts the way they do, and trace half your coping strategies back to childhood. You’ve done the therapy, read the books and analyzed the shit out of it.
And still: Why do I keep ending up here?

You’re “too much” or “not enough”. You’ve learned to adapt, code-switch, and become different versions of yourself just to belong—yet somehow, you still feel like the outlier.
I call us n’betweeners.
We live at the intersections of cultures, identities, and worlds. We know what it’s like to feel neither here nor there—to be misunderstood, questioned, or burdened with having to explain and prove WHO we are.
You don’t fit neatly into one box. Cause you were never meant to.

No matter who we are or where we come from, we all deserve to live happy and fulfilling lives. Life is hard and can present us with emotional challenges we’re not sure how to process. The first step is asking for help. If you're going through the adoption process, are an adoptee (youth or adult), experiencing relationship issues (monogamous and non-monogamous), are of a marginalized community, or have a special needs child in the family, I'd love to help you process through the complex feelings that accompany your unique intersection of identities.

Hi! Welcome—I’m glad you’re here.
I’m a therapist who is passionate about helping people find freedom from painful and traumatic experiences, while also creating a space where you can better understand, accept, and appreciate who you are. Many of the people I work with experience the world a little differently. You may be autistic, have ADHD, identify as neurodivergent, or simply feel like your brain works differently from those around you. Therapy can be a place to better understand those differences, let go of the pressure to fit into someone else’s version of “normal,” and build greater self-acceptance.
