My primary role as a therapist is to create a safe space that encourages clients in the practice of self-compassion & internal safety. Shame is the antithesis to growth & healing, making it feel unsafe to know and love ourselves. Much of my work with clients involves identifying and deconstructing the negative beliefs about themselves that keep them from experiencing inner peace & freedom. I am committed to listening, believing, and challenging clients on their journey toward healing and growth. My "ideal client" is one who is ready to do the very courageous work of knowing and loving their self.

“I feel like I hold back what I really think to avoid conflict.” … “I feel like I’m stuck in survival mode instead of thriving.” … “I feel like anxiety, depression, and past trauma are keeping me from being myself.” … “I feel like I’m under constant pressure. I can't escape.” It doesn’t have to stay this way. I am here to support you through this season and help you create a life with more balance, meaning, and joy.

In our work together, I draw on an integrative, trauma-informed approach, weaving talk therapy and neurofeedback to honor the connection between mind, body, and brain.

You’re not broken—you’re worn out from living in survival mode.
Many of my clients are insightful, capable people who have spent years managing anxiety,
emotional overwhelm, or shutdown by staying strong and self-reliant. These patterns didn’t
appear by accident—they developed to protect you. In our work together, we slow things down and listen to what your nervous system has been holding.

I accept Medicaid, and can provide a superbill for my out-of-network clients to help with reimbursement.
I work with individuals, couples and relationships (i.e. non-monogamous, families, etc.), to help people cultivate the lives and relationships they long for by welcoming the body's experience into the room. So often, our bodies are dismissed or seen as an inconvenience. In working with me, clients learn to speak the language of their body and build a more trusting, loving relationship with themselves and those close to them. Whatever it is that brings you into my office, I trust your innate capacity to heal and would be honored to be a part of your healing journey.

Healing is possible, and you don’t have to figure it out alone. I work with teens (12+) and adults who feel stuck, overwhelmed, disconnected, or caught in patterns that no longer serve them. Many come to therapy wanting relief from anxiety, trauma, or relationship stress and a clearer path forward. Together, we create understanding, stability, and meaningful change.

I specialize in helping teens and adults with autism and/ or intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDDs), and I’ve worked with patients with histories of trauma, anxiety, and depression. I believe that much psychological distress comes from gaps in our understanding of ourselves and others and that meaningful therapy is a process by which client and therapist think together to expand awareness and fill in those gaps. This can look like learning the “invisible” rules of social relationships, discovering our abilities to use emotional-regulation skills, or coming to know parts of ourselves that we’ve felt were not safe to know.

I believe that a strong therapeutic relationship between therapist and client is one of the most important factors in achieving change. I am a genuine, empathetic person that will hold the space needed for you to process and to determine where you want to go in your healing journey. I believe our past influences our present, but it does not define who we are or determine our future!
