I am a psychotherapist and licensed clinical social worker based in Denver, Colorado. I work with individuals, couples and families. I specialize in anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, addiction, substance abuse, OCD, relationship issues, perinatal concerns, parenting, and identity work. I am specifically trained in issues related to sexual and gender identity as well as culture and race. Through our work together, we can help you learn about the ways you relate to yourself and others, and identify and break out of patterns that are not serving you anymore while ensuring you feel seen, heard, and understood.

I believe that counseling is a journey that allows you, often for the first time, the opportunity to be fully seen. It is through this safe relationship that you can reveal your entire self, including the parts of you that hold the most shame. This brave dive into the deep, painful parts of yourself can allow you to gain compassion for your own humanness and begin to heal.

I work with individuals facing trauma, stress, anxiety, depression, and life transitions. My goal is to provide a safe, judgement-free space for individuals to explore their struggles. Additionally, I offer support for women experiencing postpartum anxiety, depression, and infertility.

I am a board-certified bariatric counselor candidate and have advanced perinatal mental health training through Postpartum Support International. I have experience in and enjoy working with concerns related to life-limiting illnesses, grief and loss, chronic diseases, eating disorders, body image, sports performance, substance use, perinatal mental health, infant loss, life transitions, and relationship concerns.

With a deep commitment to integrating mind-body connections in therapy, I strive to create a safe, nurturing and non-judgmental space for clients to navigate challenges, develop coping skills, and cultivate resilience in the face of adversity. I received my Master of Social Work from Smith College School for Social Work. I completed a two year post-graduate training program in psychodynamic psychotherapy and in the treatment of eating disorders and substance abuse at Wardenbrug Health Center at CU-Boulder. I have additional specialized training in the treatment of chronic neurological illnesses-MS in particular-through my work with the Rocky Mountain MS Center. I coordinated the eating disorder program at CU-Boulder and I have undergone additional trainings in DBT, ACT, CBT and psychodynamic therapy.

I believe that while we cannot always control the challenges life deals us, we can control how we react to them. Oftentimes we find ourselves stuck as we are confronted with unique challenges or our ways of dealing with lifelong challenges no longer effectively serve us. My goal is to collaborate with and empower you to meet these challenges productively, become unstuck, and grow into the best version of yourself.

I am an animal-assisted, nature-based therapist who specializes in helping children and adults express their most authentic, empowered Self through mindfulness, movement and playful connection. I've seen clients create ease and familiarity within their own body and truly heal from trauma by rewriting old stories. I love to support women who feel stressed, overwhelmed, burnt out or not good enough. Together we can clarify, name and claim your natural wants and needs while learning to set clear, organic boundaries and cultivate the skills necessary to create inspiring relationships with family, friends, lovers, colleagues and Self.
