Accepting clients. I am passionate about psychotherapy and the impact it can have on society. My passion for psychotherapy stems from my own experiences with therapy and the powerful impact it made on my own life. It allowed me to see myself as a part of a system to make change and impact in the world around us. I bring this into my work with clients with anxiety, depression, burnout, and stress.

Hello! As a licensed professional counselor candidate, we’ll work together to find an inner sense of balance in your life. Sometimes, that looks like practicing mindfulness or utilizing somatic tools to manage challenging internal states–anxiety, depression, grief or sadness. Other times, that may look like exploring the intricacies of a difficult situation or relationship. Ultimately, the goal is to come back to a sense of joy.

I exclusively offer weekend appointments in order to make therapy more accessible to busy professionals and families. You might find you are reliving the same patterns and cycles over and over again in your family, your relationships, your career, or your behaviors. Likely this has caused worry, hurt, anger, or feelings of sadness. Through exploring these patterns or themes, we will work together to gain insight and understand their cause. New skills and strategies will be gained as well, so that you, or your family, can move forward towards happiness.

Do you wonder if you'll ever feel good enough? If you'll ever feel happy and confident? You’ve tried to figure things out on your own with books, courses, apps, diets, and thinking positively. You mostly have your stuff together, except that nagging childhood trauma that is holding you back. Sometimes you feel better, you’re able to achieve a lot, and no one else would know that you need some help. I create a safe, comforting space for you to reflect and learn how to move forward. As a licensed professional counselor, I use EMDR and a holistic approach to help you make sense of the past so you can live in the present moment.

I know how difficult the search for a therapist can be. It feels like there's a lot riding on making the right choice, but there's so much uncertainty about what the right choice even entails. Of course you want a professional who seems qualified to address your specific areas of struggle, but it seems to me that the most healing aspect of therapy is the experience of feeling comfortable enough to be radically open with a therapist who you perceive to be compassionate, nonjudgmental, and real. Try to find someone you feel you can click with on an authentic human level; otherwise, it's likely to feel transactional and limiting.

Do you feel alone in intimate relationships, repeating destructive patterns you would like to change? Are you feeling cut off from your creativity or struggling to find meaningful direction in life? Are you successful in the world but sense something deeper is missing? My focus is helping you improve your quality of life through connecting with inner strengths, reclaiming parts of yourself that have been left behind. I work with couples and professionals - often in life and career transitions, frequently in tech, law, medicine, and mental heath. Some are musicians, artists and writers, looking for deeper connection.

You are a woman who has been devastated by pregnancy loss, pregnancy termination due to medical reasons, or infant death, and you are ready to talk to someone who truly understands how sad and alone you feel. You are grieving your sweet baby and just want someone who can listen without judging or telling you that “everything happens for a reason.” You feel heartbroken, ashamed, and angry. Your world has stopped while everyone else’s has moved along. If you see one more pregnancy announcement, gender reveal, or birth announcement on social media you might lose it.

I strongly believe in the protective and positive intention of all challenging emotions and patterns of thought. My goal is to help my clients explore the sources of these patterns, listen to their unmet needs, and then work with these feelings in order to get the need met in a healthy way. I also encourage clients to increase their tolerance of these uncomfortable emotions, which then allows for growth. I validate, support, and accept clients right where they are, while also challenging them to take the lead in their progress and personal growth.

Too many of us live each day with a lack of contentment, a nagging sense of stress and disconnection, but this does not have to become the norm for you. If you are ready to take the leap and desire a holistic approach to change, I can help you to cultivate the satisfying life you desire. While I enjoy working with a variety of individuals, I specialize in helping adults suffering from anxiety and relational dissatisfaction to find peace. Above all I provide an environment where you will feel safe and seen, so you can process your own unique pain and ultimately find healing.

Making changes is hard. This is true whether you are exhausted and know something needs to change, are considering taking a stand against depression or anxiety, or are navigating through a major life transition: the birth of a child, the loss of a loved one, the ending or beginning of a relationship, starting or changing a career. You don't need to do it alone. Feel like yourself again; our counselors can help.

We all face varying degrees of trauma and stress which, left unresolved, can create challenges with well-being and make life feel unmanageable. If you are struggling with mood instability, relationships, negative behavior/thought cycles or emotional dysregulation, seeking therapy is a great first step to a more balanced life. I aim to provide a light on the path to healing and growth as we work together to establish safety, build awareness, process past experiences, and form new ways of coping.

I find joy in working with clients who are feeling “stuck.” This can look like a variety of ways: feeling stuck in relationships; stuck in unhealthy patterns; stuck in emotions that make it difficult to experience healing, etc. You will be a good fit for me if you’re someone who has had a history of painful and wounding events that you’ve pushed aside, and are now sensing the impacts of those moments. As a trauma-informed therapist, I work with my clients to make sense of their history, change the narratives that might be causing them suffering, and to create a new story that allows authentic flourishing.

I believe in people and their ability to make changes in their lives that best serve them, no matter what stage of life they are in. It is an absolute privilege to join clients as they unpack the complex, inner workings of their lives, feelings and beliefs by providing a warm, non-judgmental, genuine and flexible space to do so. My aim is to collaboratively help clients identify and understand patterns in which they feel stuck, find relief from narratives that are no longer serving them, and learn how to move towards a value-driven life feeling empowered.

We live in a society that tends to make us feel bad about who we are. I would be honored to join you in subverting the systems that contribute to our mental “illness” and work towards defining new ways of being mentally well. Hi, my name is Jade. I identify as queer. My pronouns are she/hers. I am also cisgender and white (among many other parts of who I am). It is important to understand how my identity and lived experience impacts my work with clients. I am passionate about working with people who may identify somewhere on the LGBTQIA+ spectrum. I am committed to making my services affirming and safe for neurodivergent people.
