Waitlist for new clients
We will start with the assessment process where I get a sexual and family of origin history intake to map out your psychological makeup and better understand who you are.
Currently on a 4-6 month waitlist. I help couples & individuals with intimacy, attachment & sex therapy. I work with people with low desire or different sex drives in relationship (wanting more or less sex). Another niche of mine is working to help people strengthen their open relationship (or start the process). I enjoy men's work on ED, vulnerability, & compulsive sexual behavior. Let's talk about what's happening right now that's troubling you. I have a lot of confidence we can collaborate on finding solutions that will get you back to a place of feeling connected to yourself and those around you.

I studied child & family development in college in Missouri, then earned a master of social work (MSW) in Denver.
Difficult pregnancies, unexpected birth experiences, relationships with our childhood caregivers, postpartum mood disorders, and changing relationships with our spouse, family, and friends. All of these factors influence how we show up with our infants and toddlers.

Conflict, stress, life changes, resentment, infidelity, focusing on the "business" side of family and running a home, can all drive couples into their own silos and erode emotional connection.
I strongly believe in unconditional acceptance and warmth, to help you create a life, marriage, and relationship you've always envisioned. Helping the individual heal and empower the relationship with self, helping couples mitigate crisis, improve communication, learn to make sense of their differences, and refocus on healthy foundations of a relationship.

I have nine years of specialization in the areas of grief and loss, childhood bereavement, family systems, parent coaching, and trauma-informed care.
Has your life been disrupted by significant loss? Are you struggling to navigate the changes and cope with your emotions? Grief can be overwhelming, confusing, and painful, and it’s common to feel like you have no control. Unfortunately, many people learn to avoid their grief and pretend everything is okay. This can lead to long-term problems such as depression, anxiety, substance misuse, relational conflict, and more. I offer compassionate space for you to explore your grief with curiosity, not fear. Rather than giving advice, I seek to equip you with knowledge, skills, and awareness that you can apply outside of therapy sessions.

Family Therapy

What do family therapists do?

A family therapist facilitates the process of understanding and improving how a family functions. The therapist will help family members develop empathy for one another. They’ll seek to understand existing patterns, misunderstandings, and conflicts that arise, in order to help the family arrive at a realistic, unified understanding and develop the coping skills they need to build stronger relationships.

How long does therapy for families take to work?

Therapy manifests differently in every family; a common time frame is 12 weekly sessions, but some families may see improvement after just a few weeks. Families should discuss their goals with the therapist at the beginning of the process and periodically revisit those goals to assess their progress together.

How can you encourage a family member to attend family therapy?

You can encourage family members to attend therapy by expressing with both love and concern the challenges you see and explaining how a therapist could help the family navigate those challenges together. An outside perspective can help everyone feel heard, get on the same page, and develop new skills. If family members are still hesitant, it may be helpful to emphasize that family therapy is short-term—it won’t last forever.

Is therapy for families effective?

Family therapy can significantly improve family dynamics and relationships. Research suggests that family therapy can help individuals understand their role in the family, communicate and solve problems together, reduce conflict and draw boundaries when necessary, and develop coping skills for stressors, major life changes, and mental or physical illnesses within the family.
