I draw from my connection to art and art therapy techniques to help others express and understand their selves on another level.
Everyone deserves at least one place in their life where they truly feel seen and heard for exactly who they are, not just who they have been or who they could be. With compassion and curiosity, I want to build this space with you to create meaning, understanding and self-acceptance that can spread into all facets of your life. Life can be hard to navigate when you feel isolated and alone. There may be mornings you wake up and immediately feel the urge to close your eyes again, or nights that become sleepless with endless chatter in your mind. Together we can sort through the noise.

Healing happens when we feel seen, heard, and accepted for who we are. When such a fundamental need goes unmet—of course, we feel adrift and disconnected, both from ourselves and from the world around us. We fall out of touch with our intuition and our bodies and feel immobilized. If you’re seeking help, you’re already doing the work. My role is to help you continue to strengthen that resilience and wisdom already within you.

Your anxiety, depression, and stress have reached a point where they are affecting your relationships, work, and/or pleasure, but you don't know where to begin in your healing.

Hello and welcome! I see you and I'm glad you're here. I earned my Masters in Social Work from Indiana University with a focus in trauma. I grew up and practiced most of my professional life in Indiana. Then, life happened, I chose to take the challenge and do what I love, where I love to be the most, close to the mountains. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I have been honored to walk with many individuals, from all walks of life, seeking hope, whole human health and a brighter future. The weight of life is heavy with all that we see and hear in social media, news outlets

Hi there, I'm Asia. We all long for meaningful connections and finding a purpose in our lives. We all want to know that we matter. I base my therapeutic approach on the belief that we are all good at heart, worthy, and capable of making the right choices for ourselves. Even though we can't always choose what happens to us, we can choose how we respond. I believe the way we handle the tough things life throws at us—loss, hardship, adversity, rejection—is what defines each of us as a human. I offer a warm and friendly therapeutic environment. I'm compassionate yet direct.

Hello, I'm Mark. As we start our journey at the bottom of the mountain, we must understand there are several paths to the top. All of these paths have the potential to lead you to the summit, where you can find the view you've been looking for. You're going to choose your path, just as with many things in life. I will walk alongside you as we ascend the mountain, meeting daily goals along the way. As we move forward, we'll process the roots, rocks, caves, and canyons we traverse. Why do you keep tripping over them, and why are they holding you back?

I work with adults who want to feel more connected, confident, and fulfilled in their relationships — with others and with themselves. Many of my clients come to me feeling exhausted from trying to meet everyone’s needs and unsure how to find balance — feeling disconnected. Together, we explore who they are now, identify the attachment patterns shaping their relationships, and calm the nervous system that’s been stuck in “overdrive.” This process helps them feel grounded, present, and able to show up authentically in all areas of life.

You are unique, and have something valuable to express, offer, and live. We suffer when we feel cut off from this, when the circumstances and experiences of life do not reflect our deepest knowing of self. Depression, anxiety; feeling stuck, lost, dissatisfied with life.. addiction, unhealthy relationships, illness, loss.... These are all opportunities to learn to love oneself more fully; invitations to transform and heal. I help people restore clarity, connection, love, and get to the root of what blocks their full aliveness.

Art Therapy
How does art therapy work?
The process of making art allows people to express themselves. Art-making can take many forms, such as painting, collage, or sculpting. The therapist asks questions that the work elicits, such as how the person felt while creating their piece, or if any memories surfaced that they can discuss. The therapist will then work with the patient to process their experience, understand themselves better, and work toward change.
Does art therapy help with trauma?
Art therapy can be a valuable treatment option for those suffering from trauma. Traumatic experiences such as combat, rape, or childhood abuse can be so painful that articulating them can be too scary or painful; creating art allows people to express themselves without words, and tell their story in a different way. The physical nature of creating art can also help people feel rooted in the body, which may benefit those who feel disconnected from their body in the aftermath of trauma.
How long does art therapy last?
The duration of art therapy varies, but a common length for treatment is 10 to 15 weekly sessions. Some people may see improvement in just a few weeks, while others may choose to remain in therapy longer term. Patients should periodically discuss their goals with their therapist to make sure the two are aligned on process and progress.
What are the limitations of art therapy?
Art therapy is helpful for many people, but a limitation is that it doesn’t have as robust an evidence base as other forms of therapy, such as cognitive behavioral therapy or acceptance and commitment therapy. The evidence on art therapy is mixed; some research demonstrates its benefits, while other research suggests that it has little impact on patients.
