My lived experiences in those spheres, as well as the kink and non-monogamous communities, allow me to bring a fully sex-positive, gender-affirming, and culturally sensitive lens to the therapy space I create.
There are parts of us we've learned to hide. The desires we've never said out loud, the relationships that don't fit the mold, the identities we've only half-let ourselves claim. Therapy should be a place where all of those parts get to show up. A place to understand where they came from, what they need, and what it feels like to exist without apology. My approach is social justice-informed and centered around authenticity and connection. I'm here to help you explore your identity, intimacy, and engage in personal transformation, however that may look for you.

They work with those in traditional and nontraditional relationships (ex. ethical non-monogamy, polyamory, kink relationships).
Anxiety, depression, trauma, and a host of other challenges can rob us of our identity and potential in life. The importance of finding a person you feel safe exploring the brightest and darkest parts of you with can’t be overstated. My goal is to help you see and achieve your unique potential, to uncover and release that beautiful self within you beneath the wounds of life, and ultimately – to feel better! Before finding a good therapist, many people find themselves feeling paralyzed by not knowing what to do, where to go, or what to say. I get it. Rest assured, I’m really easy to talk to, and I will never judge you.

Creating a safe and supportive space is at the heart of my work as a therapist. I believe that healing happens in relationships grounded in authenticity, non-judgment, and genuine warmth. Therapy asks a lot of us; finding a therapist who feels safe enough to share your story with shouldn't be the hardest part. My goal is to understand your experience, honor your story, and help you find a way forward that feels meaningful to you. But most importantly, I want you to know that every part of you is welcome here: the sadness, loneliness, joy, chaos, anger, shame, and everything in between. Come as you are.

Modern life can leave us stressed out, disconnected from each other, and disconnected from ourselves. Human beings have an incredible capacity for adaptation and growth. I believe that therapy is an effective way to tap into the resiliency for which we are all capable. Everyone experiences life’s up and downs, which can include trauma, difficulty adjusting, trouble in interpersonal relationships, mood regulation, self-destructive behaviors, anxiety, depression, and many others.

I work best with children, adolescents, adults, and families navigating big emotions, behavioral challenges, anxiety, or major life transitions like divorce, a move, or a new job. Many younger clients struggle to put feelings into words, so I use a child-centered, play-based approach that helps them feel safe exploring at their own pace. I also believe lasting change happens when parents grow alongside their child, so I make space for that collaboration too. With teens and adults, I draw on a variety of therapeutic perspectives tailored to each person's unique goals, helping them move from stuck to steady, one session at a time.

Trauma is an interesting part of life, you are not expecting it, and you barely understand it. Now you are forced to deal with it. Or even to deal with many other Mental Health issues. I have experienced enough trauma, Grief and Loss, sadness, and Depression to last a lifetime, from childhood issues to adult issues. However, I had to build a team; you would call this team a support system, much like what you are doing by reading my profile. You want to build your (Team) Support system, and you are not alone. It is easy to fight your battles alone and to suffer in silence. I want you to know that you do not have to.

Do you spend your days taking care of everyone else while wondering when your own life became an endless list of responsibilities? Many of us reach a point in our lives feeling overwhelmed by the demands of work, relationships, aging parents, children, health concerns, and the constant unspoken pressure to keep everything going without complaint. On the outside, we may appear as though everything is great while internally struggling with constant exhaustion or feeling like no matter how much we do it may never be enough. Updated 7/1/26

If you’re like the humans I’ve worked with, you’re probably used to inner chaos. Feeling all the feelings and having no idea what to do with them all. You’ve probably been told (or tell yourself) that you’re “too emotional” or “too sensitive.” Maybe you’ve internalized a mean inner critic, didn’t always get the support you needed, people pleased until the point of burn out, or felt chronically misunderstood. You’re in the right place! I believe that the most transformation stems from the power of the therapeutic relationship. Together, we’ll create a space where all of you is welcomed and you feel ready to take steps forward!

Hey there, is life feeling especially scary, anxious or unsettling lately? Not sure where you can turn for non-judgmental support and connection? You're not alone and I'm glad you're here! I believe that we are all fellow travelers in this life and we can learn from each other, grow through authenticity and that our greatest chance at a purposeful life has everything to do with our relationships to ourselves and others. Therapy is hard, and it can be scary at times, but it can also offer a safe haven to explore your needs, goals and whole self without judgement.

I believe it is important to find the right therapist so you talk about the challenges you are facing. An essential part of my practice is to build rapport with my clients, so they feel comfortable talking about their struggles or the hurtful issues they’ve experienced. I enjoy collaborating with my clients to determine the best plan to address challenges with the overuse of social media or a substance; assist clients with trauma from their families, binge eating, grief, ADHD, Bipolar Disorder, identity issues, life transitions, sleep disturbances, anxiety, health issues, & binge drinking.

Sex-Positive, Kink Allied Therapists
Why might an individual want to see a sex-positive, kink-allied therapist?
A sex-positive or kinky individual may want to see a sex-positive, kink-allied therapist because the client may feel safer and more supported discussing their experiences and challenges. A therapist who identifies as kink-friendly will have experience with clients having diverse sexual preferences and will likely be nonjudgmental and supportive about issues brought to the table. It is important to note that sex-positive, kink-allied individuals may find equal success with therapists who do not have such specialized knowledge and background. The most important factor in the success of therapy is for the client and practitioner to form a strong, trusting bond.

Do therapists have special training to gain expertise in sex-positive, kink-allied treatment?
Generally, no. There are limited training programs and unofficial accreditations that therapists can pursue, but a therapist’s expertise will ultimately come from their previous experience with similar clients, their engagement with organizations that promote sex positivity or kink-allied lifestyles, and the importance they place on safety and cultural sensitivity.

How can individuals recognize a good sex-positive, kink-allied therapist?
An experienced therapist is able to help clients explore their sexual identity and expression and relieve any discomfort or stigma attached to discussing such matters and the client’s overall challenges. A therapist who is sex-positive and kink-allied is able to create an environment that honors a client’s experience and sexual preferences. To recognize a good therapist, clients can simply ask directly about topics and issues important to them and gauge their comfort level and connection with a clinician based on the responses.

Can clients benefit from having a therapist with a focus on sex positivity and alternative sexual lifestyles?
Some individuals may feel most comfortable knowing that the clinician they’re working with has a commitment to creating an atmosphere of sex positivity and has experience with relationship diversity and alternative relationship structures. Working with a sex-positive, kink-allied therapist may help clients respect their own challenges and improve identity-affirming treatment.
