I understand that it can be difficult to find a safe space to explore overwhelming emotions and the challenges that come with life’s difficulties. Starting therapy can feel intimidating, and I recognize the strength it takes to take that first step. My commitment is to create a warm, non-judgmental environment where you can feel safe, supported, and empowered throughout your healing journey.

Do you feel anxious, stuck, or uncertain of yourself in relationships? Maybe you find yourself overanalyzing texts, second-guessing your decisions, or repeating patterns that leave you feeling disconnected or dissatisfied. You may long for closeness while also feeling overwhelmed by it, unsure how to trust yourself or others. You’re tired of just managing relationship anxiety and ready to understand what’s beneath it. You want calmer, more secure relationships that feel safe, reciprocal, and emotionally fulfilling.

Out Of The Box - These are particularly stressful times which exacerbate our own personal issues and anxieties. Engaging our bodies, learning to be mindful in our thoughts and actions, and strengthening our intuition evoke change on a very deep and sustaining level. Using nature, somatic, expressive, energetic and other experiential modalities invites you to go to the heart of the matter in a different way. Getting out of our heads and the stories we've been telling ourselves our whole lives allows us to see ourselves in a new light, from a fresh perspective... creating hope and motivation for growth, renewal, and sustained change.

Navigating the immigration process can feel overwhelming. Your lawyer is handling the legal side, but you’re left feeling anxious, confused, and scared that the only home you’ve ever known could be taken from you. You search for answers, and that’s where I come in. An Immigration Psychological Evaluation can provide critical support for your case. This could be the key factor in keeping your family together rather than torn apart. Whether you're seeking asylum, facing hardship, applying for a waiver, or proving the emotional impact of separation, I take the time to provide a comprehensive evaluation. I might be for you if: You’ve outgrown the surface-level stuff and want something deeper. You’re self-aware and constantly thinking, looping, analyzing... but still not feeling better. You’ve tried traditional therapy and left wanting more challenge or creativity. You’re tired of “fixing” yourself and want to explore what’s actually yours vs. what you inherited. You’ve been living by rules or roles that don’t quite fit anymore. You crave honest conversation, unexpected insight, and a little bit of weird.

If OCD or anxiety has taken over too much of your life, you may already know how exhausting it is to live inside constant checking, reassurance seeking, overthinking, avoidance, or intrusive thoughts you cannot shake. You may also struggle with ADHD, insomnia, shame, trauma, depression, relationship stress, hair pulling, or skin picking. These patterns can make you feel trapped even when you understand them. With focused therapy, you can stop organizing your life around fear and begin moving toward steadier ground. Understanding the pattern matters, but real change usually requires practicing a new way of meeting it.

Maybe you understand why you feel the way you do, but knowing where it comes from hasn’t necessarily changed how you feel. You may still find yourself overthinking, questioning your worth, struggling in relationships, or reacting in ways you wish you could change. Sometimes, the parts of us that are trying the hardest to protect us are also the ones keeping us stuck. I work with individuals and couples navigating trauma, self-worth, emotional struggles, and relationship patterns.

If you’re struggling with obsessive thoughts, constant worry, or overwhelming anxiety, you don’t have to figure it out alone. I’ve spent over a decade specializing in the treatment of OCD and anxiety disorders, helping hundreds break free from the anxious cycles that keep them stuck. I use only gold-standard, evidence-based treatments like Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) and Exposure Therapy, both specialized forms of CBT proven to be the most effective approaches for OCD and anxiety. These therapies are structured, goal-oriented, and designed to give you a clear path toward recovery. This is different than just talk therapy.

You've probably gotten pretty good at holding it together. Maybe you're the person others lean on — while quietly carrying grief, anxiety, or the weight of something you've never had the right words for. Maybe life has handed you something unexpected: a loss, a diagnosis, a shift in who you thought you were. Or maybe nothing dramatic happened, and yet you feel stuck, exhausted, or disconnected in ways you can't quite explain. Whatever brought you here, you don't have to arrive with it figured out. Therapy should be a safe space for you to show up authentically, and work collaboratively towards the goals and progress you set.

Jewish Therapists
Why is it important for a therapist to be culturally sensitive?
Therapists and clients don’t need to share the same background to be able to work together, but a therapist whose training includes a focus on cultural competence may be better able to form a therapeutic bond with individuals from a range of backgrounds, as they will have experience tailoring their approach to each client—and will be prepared to acknowledge and consider the effects of cultural forces, such as discrimination, that may contribute to that client’s concerns. With a professional who has such training, a client should feel comfortable discussing sensitive issues without feeling that they need to self-censor.

How can I recognize an effective Jewish therapist?
As with members of any religious or ethnic group, just because two people happen to be Jewish does not guarantee that they will share the same values, knowledge, or experiences. A Jewish client seeking a therapist who shares their cultural identity, or for whom it’s important that a therapist share their religious beliefs, may want to discuss a professional’s Jewish background with them before beginning therapy. For someone who seeks justification for major life changes in their religious tradition, or in biblical writings, finding a therapist who is comfortable framing guidance in that context may be especially valuable.

Would a Jewish therapist have unique training?
No, but they should have the same training and certification as any other mental health professional, as well as experience with a range of evidence-based techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy or mindfulness-based therapy. A therapist with this type of experience should be able to help any client feel comfortable and safe, which is essential for a therapeutic alliance. Once this is established, a potential client may want to find out more about the therapist’s Jewish background.

How can I inquire about a therapist’s experience with Jewish clients?
A client can directly ask a therapist if they have extensive experience working with Jewish clients and if so, whether these individuals sought counseling for faith-related issues or marital or familial issues in which their Jewish background was a factor. A client may also wish to ask a potential therapist whether they incorporate Jewish teachings and values into their own professional work.

Who is included in Psychology Today’s directory of Jewish therapists?
The directory of Jewish therapists includes professionals who have opted to share their cultural background on their profiles. However, not all therapists choose to disclose their background, and they may not appear in search results for this reason. The directory also shows therapists who indicate that they have extensive experience working with Jewish clients and/or communities.
