Using Brainspotting, somatic practices, ACT, narrative therapy, and parts work, we notice sensations, emotions, and old stories as they arise.
Life transitions, trauma, anxiety, grief, or shame can leave you feeling disconnected, stuck, or unsure of how to trust yourself. You may long to feel at home in your body, regain grounded confidence, and move beyond simply managing or coping with old patterns. My approach is different: we explore your experience through mindful, embodied awareness, noticing how your body, mind, and emotions interact in real time. Together, we create a space for curiosity, compassion, and self-trust to grow—helping you uncover new ways of being and relating to yourself and the world.

I sincerely believe that one's perception is their reality, and understanding that perception allows me to connect with them in a more therapeutic manner. Each client brings their own unique story, and hearing that story brings valuable insight. My goals in the therapeutic setting are to earn and build client trust, to always be authentic, to model empathy and warmth, to employ unconditional positive acceptance, to assist with reframing problematic thinking to foster potential solutions for happiness and healing, and to foster development of healthy coping skills as needed.

Hello old friend, we may have never met, but I've seen your pain. The journey from suffering to satisfaction can be a long, uncertain, and winding road. It’s never set. But it's almost always worth it. If you’re ready, I’d like to share that journey with you. I may be able to help you find the peace and freedom that seem so tough to find. If you’re ready to explore your story with me. It’s probably much easier than you think. I can handle the neurobiology and therapeutic interventions, you bring a story and an open mind/heart.

Through Brainspotting, parts work, DBT, and narrative therapy, I help clients understand themselves more deeply, heal wounded parts, and move forward with greater confidence and clarity.
You may be navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship wounds, emotional overwhelm, or a loss of self after years of people-pleasing, caregiving, or living in survival mode. Many of my clients feel stuck in patterns they understand intellectually but struggle to change emotionally. Together, we create a compassionate space to process difficult experiences, build emotional regulation skills, strengthen self-worth, and reconnect with who you are. My goal is to help you move toward greater clarity, confidence, healing, and lasting change.

I also use two very effective approaches: The Play Zone, a science-backed approach that uses body awareness to manage pressure and stress, and Brainspotting, a brain-body approach that assists your brain and body in resolving and evolving any issue.
Let this be the moment you commit to changing your life — to resolve your emotional and real life issues and blocks, express your positive traits and develop new traits, and start manifesting the life you want. I have gone through my version of the healing journey; my issues were—addiction, depression, trauma, loss, and performance blocks — and as I moved passed my issues, I flourished. It is my privilege to assist others with their personal, social, spiritual and career concerns. I specialize in working with substance and behavioral addictions and codependency, sports and performance issues, relationships, and spiritual struggles.

When appropriate, I integrate Brainspotting to support deeper trauma processing, addressing both cognitive patterns and the neurophysiological impact of trauma for more comprehensive healing.
My ideal client is someone impacted by trauma or significant life adversity who feels overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure how to move forward. They seek a safe, compassionate space to process experiences, build insight into trauma responses, and develop effective coping skills. Their goals include healing, restoring a sense of safety and identity, strengthening resilience, and improving connection. As a trauma-specialized counselor, I walk alongside clients through hardship and its aftermath so they do not have to face it alone.

I integrate body-based and experiential therapies, including EMDR and Brainspotting, to help process experiences that words cannot express.
You feel like you are carrying the weight of the world but no one else can see. On the outside, you might be functioning—but internally, you feel overwhelmed, disconnected and stuck in patterns you can’t seem to change. If you’ve experienced trauma, you may notice that even when you understand what happened, your body still doesn’t feel safe. I work with individuals navigating trauma, dissociation and attachment wounds, as well as teens who feel overwhelmed by the pressures of life and need help coping. Many of the people I work with feel like they’re “holding it together” for everyone else while quietly struggling on the inside.

The past few years have been traumatic for individuals and families all over the world. Many have had difficulty coping with their day-to-day struggles which has been compounded by underlying traumatic events, abuse, and lack of support. Many struggle with unhealthy coping mechanisms to help them manage their depression and anxiety. This often leads to neglecting individual needs, unhealthy coping, toxic relationships, & substance use. Understanding how these issues manifest in one's life and discovering how to heal and become the best version of oneself is a difficult process that is most effective with someone to serve as a guide

How does brainspotting work?
Brainspotting works by using eye positioning to identify and process traumatic memories so that a client is better able to move forward and live with less fear. The theory behind brainspotting is that by identifying where a person looks when thinking of traumatic memories, a therapist will be able to guide them to focus on that spot and work with the client to get them out of the “fight, flight, freeze” response associated with the traumatic memory.

Is brainspotting an evidence-based therapy?
Brainspotting is a theory-based alternative therapy. It is one of the newest forms of treatment, so very little research has been completed that examines the mechanism by which it works. The theory behind brainspotting is that eye position can be linked to areas of the brain that store and process memory.

How effective is brainspotting?
Because it is such a new treatment, the effectiveness of brainspotting cannot be quantified. Some people have found it to be effective on its own, or in conjunction with other types of therapy. It is considered an alternative therapy, and it is popular with people for whom more traditional therapies have proven ineffective.

How long does brainspotting take to work?
A typical brainspotting session will last between 60 to 90 minutes. There is no required number of sessions needed to complete brainspotting therapy, but in many cases it is delivered over the course of about six sessions. Clients are encouraged to rate their level of distress prior to a session and again following a session, and to track progress.
