Adults often seek counseling during seasons when life feels overwhelming, uncertain, or difficult to navigate alone. Many come while struggling with anxiety, chronic stress, or relationship challenges. Others feel stuck professionally, disconnected from their sense of purpose, or unsure how to move forward during major life transitions such as parenting, empty nest, career dissatisfaction, or retirement. Many clients are also exploring deeper questions about identity, meaning, or faith and are looking for a thoughtful place to reflect, gain clarity, and begin moving toward healthier and more meaningful lives.

I also integrate somatic awareness, attachment theory, mindfulness, and parts work when they support the process, tailoring therapy to each person’s unique needs.

I work with clients who may be struggling with ADHD, Autism, chronic pain, and/or eating disorders.
When life is painful, it’s understandable to fall into a cycle of avoidance, non- acceptance, and suffering. My approach is about learning to accept what’s beyond your control, facing up to what’s causing you pain, and finding ways to make life feel meaningful. I love working with neurodivergent adults and people in recovery from eating disorders. If you feel like you can’t get your life together, no matter how hard you try, I would love to work with you! My approach is gentle but directive, warm and humorous, and above all, non-judgmental.

You're exhausted from carrying so much on your own—always trying to hold it all together, keep the peace, or meet others expectations. Maybe you're longing for deeper self-trust, more ease in your body, or relationships that feel safe and real. If so, you're in the right place. My specialty is helping clients unlearn limiting conditioning, reconnect with their inner child, and live from their authentic core—because life’s simply too short to play a role that isn’t truly yours. I will help carry what feels unbearable, listen deeply, honor your story, celebrate each victory, and stay curious about every challenge.

When should I seek treatment for ADHD?
You should seek treatment for ADHD if you consistently have difficulty with attention, hyperactivity, or impulsivity that interferes with your daily life. Symptoms of ADHD include the inability to sustain attention during tasks, difficulty organizing tasks and activities, being easily distracted, frequent fidgeting or squirming, and talking or interrupting excessively. If these symptoms interfere with your career, academics, or relationships—for example, consistently failing to complete professional projects on time—you should seek an evaluation for ADHD.

How does treatment for ADHD work?
Effective treatment for ADHD often consists of medication, behavioral therapy, and lifestyle changes. Stimulant medications such as Adderall and Ritalin work by altering levels of neurotransmitters in the brain; higher levels of dopamine and norepinephrine are known to improve attention and focus. Therapy works by helping people with ADHD understand the condition, discuss their areas of difficulty, and develop behavioral strategies to manage their symptoms. In some cases, modifying one’s diet and exercise can also help improve symptoms.

Are there specific medications for ADHD?
Medications to treat ADHD are generally stimulants, the most common are Adderall and Ritalin. There are two categories of stimulants: Amphetamines include Adderall, Dyanavel, Vyvanse, and Dexedrine, and methylphenidates include Ritalin, Concerta, Daytrana, Focalin, Quillichew, Quillivant, and Metadate. Non-stimulants and antidepressants may be used as an alternative if stimulants aren’t effective or viable for a particular patient.

How long does treatment for ADHD take?
It’s tough to give an exact time frame because everyone varies. In terms of medications, stimulants begin to work very soon after you take them, generally within the hour. It may take time to identify the right medication and dosage, but the medication itself is fast-acting. In terms of therapy, it takes time to develop skills and put them into practice, but you will likely see improvements within a few weeks or months.
