My ideal clients are adults navigating an experience that changed how they see themselves, their relationships, or their life — divorce, grief, illness, spiritual awakening or loss of faith, caregiving, or menopause. They come to me not confused about whether something changed, but unsure what to do with it. Using a Transformational Integration Model I developed from fifteen-plus years of clinical practice, we move from stabilizing to understanding to real, sustainable change — so the experience becomes part of your story, not the whole of it.

I offer in-person services in the Denver Tech Center, as well as secure online sessions (teletherapy) for any Colorado or Florida residents.
When you are struggling to move past conflicts or getting stuck in all-too-familiar patterns, there should be something so direct, personal, and real about what you discover and practice in therapy that it should dramatically change how you think, feel, and act with others. Therapy should captivate and transform you. That's my specialty. Yet, even though therapy is serious work, there should be room for play: for trying things on, for practice, for being human. As a Certified Emotionally Focused Couple and family therapist, I care about the quality of your relationships. My approach? Connecting. Pragmatic. Thorough. Creative.

Are you struggling to overcome things that have happened in your life, and no matter what you’ve tried, it feels beyond your control? Are you starting to give up hope that things will ever change? Afraid that you are doomed to forever repeat the same old patterns that are holding you back? When you reach that point, it is easy to feel misunderstood, hopeless, and alone. It can impact your mood, work life, relationships, and even your ability to sleep at night. If any of this sounds familiar, it is time to stop struggling with this alone. Help and hope are available.

I currently have a few openings for telehealth and in-office (Mon/Tues) daytime available.
I work with adults navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship strain, and the cumulative effects of chronic stress. Many of the individuals I serve are high-functioning professionals who maintain external success while experiencing nervous system dysregulation, emotional exhaustion, or performance instability. In addition to traditional therapy, I offer structured, time-limited clinical intensives that integrate neurofeedback, EMDR-informed interventions, and somatic regulation to support focused, measurable change. These intensives are designed for individuals seeking depth and efficiency beyond weekly therapy.

Becoming a parent is something that comes naturally but sometimes we have moments, or periods of transitions with our kids and we might not be sure how to navigate them. That’s where I come in. As a parent, working mom and therapist, I understand the mental load that goes into raising children. I work with children as young as 3 years old, into adulthood. I have a unique lens as a therapist, having spent over 20 years in the business and tech worlds before deciding to shift careers and pursue my passion of helping others.

For over 30 years I have been working with men, spouses & couples battling Porn/Sex addiction for which I have post-licensure training. I began as a young adult pastor in the early 1990s & soon realized that the breakdown of family & access to online negative outlets would become this generation’s greatest hurdle to having & preserving their own healthy family. My heart is that of a pastor. My qualifications, training, and skills are that of a very seasoned therapist. I focus on rebuilding trust & intimacy & would be honored to assist you not only in your pursuit of restoration but in becoming who you were always meant to be.

FAQ - About In Person Therapy
What are the benefits of in-person therapy?
In-person therapy offers several benefits that some people find highly valuable for their mental health treatment. Being present in the same room as your therapist can create a stronger sense of connection and allow for more nuanced communication through body language. Some people may also find it easier to focus in therapy when they are in a dedicated space and away from potential distractions related to home or work; attending an in-person session provides a clear boundary between therapy time and the rest of your life. For certain therapeutic approaches, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), exposure therapy, or somatic therapy, being in person may be particularly important, as these therapies benefit from the therapist being able to observe and respond to a client’s physical cues effectively. Additionally, some individuals simply feel more comfortable discussing sensitive or painful topics when they are face-to-face with their therapist rather than on a screen.

When should I choose in-person therapy over online therapy?
In-person therapy may be a better choice when you need a structured therapeutic environment separate from your daily life, when you find it difficult to focus or feel comfortable in an online setting, or when privacy at home is a concern. It may also be more appropriate if you are dealing with severe mental health symptoms that require close monitoring or if your therapy involves approaches that rely heavily on observing physical cues. On the other hand, if convenience, scheduling flexibility, or access to specialists outside your immediate area are priorities, online therapy may be a better fit. Many therapists offer both options, so you can also discuss with a provider which format might work best for your specific situation.

How do I find an in-person therapist?
You can use Psychology Today's therapist directory to find an in-person therapist in your area. You can search by location, insurance accepted, specialty areas, therapeutic approaches, and other criteria to narrow down providers who meet your needs. Each therapist profile includes information about their credentials, areas of expertise, and whether they offer in-person sessions. Once you have identified potential therapists, you can contact them directly through the directory to schedule an initial consultation and determine whether they are a good fit before committing to ongoing treatment. When reaching out, it can be helpful to confirm their availability for in-person appointments, their office location, and whether they accept your insurance.
