I support children and adults who are healing from complex trauma, narcissistic abuse, and/or navigating difficult relationships. I work with survivors of sexual abuse, domestic violence, traumatic grief, gun violence, and emotionally neglectful or unsafe childhood environments. Many people come to therapy feeling disconnected from themselves, unsure how to trust their instincts, or struggling with boundaries and self-doubt. If this feels familiar, you are not alone. Healing is possible, and you deserve care that feels steady, compassionate, and supportive.

I’m Dr. Eunice Joo, a Licensed Professional Counselor who helps individuals and couples gain deeper clarity about their thoughts, emotions, and relationship patterns. New Paradigm takes a holistic approach to DUI Services with our clients. We start with knowing a few fundamental qualities about every person that walks through our doors. Foremost, we respect you because we know everybody makes mistakes. You make the best choice at any given moment based on your knowledge and experiences. You have created your life through the daily choices you make so you have everything you need to create your life in any way you would like. Our job is to provide you with new information and experiences. Now you can make the choices that lead to the life you want. We strive to do this with the highest integrity in the business. The answer to the second most asked question at New Paradigm is, What is a paradigm? Paradigm is another word for model, pattern, standard, archetype, etc. We chose paradigm to convey, “we do it differently.” As a bonus, successful clients come out with new methods/paradigms, for handling their old habits that led to their DUI/DWAI.

If you've been feeling unworthy, lonely, anxious, or overwhelmed, know that you don't have to navigate this alone. Taking the first step toward support is an act of courage — and it can open the door to real, lasting change.
I specialize in working with anxiety, stress, self-doubt, perfectionism, grief and loss, and major life transitions. I have a particular passion for supporting highly sensitive individuals who experience the world deeply and often find themselves carrying more than their share of emotional weight. I also work with struggling caregivers who frequently put their own mental health aside to show up for others.

People have an inherent need to be understood and tell their story in order to live the life they imagine. My job as therapist is to listen, and learn from you and guide you toward better self-care, and to make the changes necessary to look inside yourself to see what might be holding you back from living a full happy life. As a licensed clinical social worker, I believe often times the things which keep us from moving forward are in our environment, such as toxic relationships, poverty, lack of education, drugs and alcohol, and past traumas.

If you are dealing with loneliness, overwhelm, or anxiety, then I welcome you - that is okay here. Grief or depression might be your companions, but they no longer need to control you. I work with adults of all ages looking to identify their values & strengths, corporate professionals looking to unpack their identity & worth outside of work, and engaged/married couples looking to have a strong connection with their partners built on trust, friendship, & intimacy. I know what it is firsthand to feel “outwardly successful but inwardly defeated” and I also know that change is possible. I can help you work towards growth & change, too.

Many of the women and teens I work with are capable and faith-filled, but feel overwhelmed, reactive, or stuck in patterns they wish they could change. As a Licensed Professional Counselor and board-certified neurofeedback provider, I help clients understand how their brain and nervous system shape their thoughts, emotions, and responses. Together we identify patterns driving stress or anxiety and build practical tools to regulate the nervous system, renew thinking, and respond with greater clarity and steadiness.

Starting therapy is a way to take a positive step towards change—a chance to get curious about your life, reconnect with your strengths, and open new pathways toward joy, ease, and authenticity. I believe that hope grows through compassion, curiosity, and genuine connection—and that even in life’s most difficult moments, healing and growth are always within reach.
It’s completely natural to feel unsure or ambivalent about starting therapy. Taking that first step can feel vulnerable, even when you know something in your life needs attention or care. My goal is to make that step feel safe, do-able, and worthwhile.

There are many reasons people begin therapy; the most important one is yours. I may be able to empathize or understand things in your situation, but your perspective is all your own. Your reasons are valid, and whatever your struggle, it is real. The most successful therapeutic relationship is one where we work together to find and help you achieve your goals. It is not always easy work, but when you are truly ready, it can bring incredibly powerful and lasting change. I come to this work with an open heart and a wealth of personal and professional experience that lends to my practice.

Hello, I’m Kyrzia Parker (she/her), MSW, LCSW, CDWF. I created One Starfish Counseling and Supervision to be a place where people come to heal, grow and explore. The name comes from The Star Thrower by Loren C. Eiseley. The story is about a child who tries to save all the starfish that were washed up after a terrible storm. While the child is throwing starfish back into the water, someone admonishes the child that they cannot save them all, cannot really make a difference. The child keeps throwing starfish back, stating, “Well, I made a difference for that one!” Soon others joined, and all the starfish were saved.

Together we can create a safe environment to explore, uncover and rebuild your authentic self. Pain is inevitable. Attempting to avoid pain creates suffering. Facing it builds courage, strength and resilience. Choose your life!
