My life philosophy revolves around bringing loving kindness and acceptance into all parts of my life—including inside the therapeutic space. I believe we are all doing the best with the tools and experiences we were given, and that therapy can bring new meaning to those experiences. As a counselor, it is not my job to tell others how they should be—instead, I am here to accept my clients as they are while holding space for the areas in their lives that they want to change.

My clients are usually dealing with life transitions and changes over the lifespan. They could also be struggling with relationships with family, workk associates or friends. I am most successful with clients that share their challenges and provide wnough information about themselves for me to understand their cultural and gender identity. This helps me to understand their world better and enables me to help them within their own context.

Many of the adults I work with look capable on the outside but feel overwhelmed, stuck, or exhausted on the inside. You may be managing ADHD or other forms of neurodivergence, carrying the weight of trauma, or wondering why life has always felt harder than it seems for everyone else. Holding it together for work or family while quietly struggling can be incredibly isolating. Therapy can be a place to finally make sense of those patterns and find relief.

Is the pain of your past making it difficult to live in the present? Have you lost a sense of safety in your life? Do you struggle with getting hijacked by feelings of shame, anxiety, anger, or sadness? Are your relationships suffering and you wonder how you will ever learn to trust again? Are you a parent and feel "stuck" in how to connect with your child and set kind and firm limits that will nurture healthy development? Are you paralyzed by fears of being abandoned or repeating the patterns of harm in current relationships that you experienced as a child? If your answer to any of these questions is yes, then you are not alone.

Are you functioning on the outside but anxious, overthinking, or emotionally exhausted on the inside? Many of my clients appear “fine” to others yet feel stuck in survival mode, disconnected, or constantly on edge.
I’m a down-to-earth, compassionate therapist offering a warm, supportive space where you don’t have to hold it all together. I’m an EMDR therapist in the Broomfield, CO area and a Certified Trauma Professional (CTP). EMDR helps your brain process distressing experiences so they no longer feel stuck in the present. Rather than only talking, it works at the nervous-system level so you feel grounded and more in control.

One of my favorite quotes from a movie is, "If something gets in your way, turn." Life is full of unexpected twists, and sometimes the best way forward is to adjust your path with courage and support. As a mental health counselor, I provide space where healing begins. Using Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), I help clients work through trauma and life’s challenges. Each 60-minute session starts with grounding, followed by guidance to help you break through barriers and move toward healing and growth.

You may be here because the effects of trauma, past hurts, or unsafe relationships still shape how you connect, communicate, and feel in your daily life. You might notice disconnection, overwhelm, or patterns that no longer serve you. Yet something in you is ready for healing—ready to reclaim balance, rebuild confidence, and move beyond what once felt too heavy to face. This is your moment to move toward meaningful change and a renewed sense of well-being.

Everyone has a story, and I make myself available in a safe and comfortable space to help you process your history, understand how it is impacting you today, and learn how to regain your sense of purpose through it all. I come from a “whole-person” approach, which means physical, mental, and spiritual health are all connected, and we can talk about one or all. My goal is to help you move through this process in a timely, but emotionally safe, manner, so you can flourish in your own space without me.

If anxiety, stress or lack of motivation is holding you back or making everyday life more difficult, please reach out to me for a free consultation. Together, my clients and I work to "make friends with our anxiety." I also specialize in relationship/family issues, ADHD, trauma, and college mental health.
