Choosing a therapist can sometimes feel daunting, scary, and overwhelming—it is certainly a courageous and vulnerable act! That is why I do my best to create an experience for my clients that is warm, welcoming, authentic, and trusting. Part of why I decided to become a therapist is because I highly prize the relationships in my life, including the relationships I form with the people I work with in therapy. While relationships can sometimes be sources of immense distress, pain, confusion, and loneliness, I also believe that when they are healthy and safe, they have the ability to soothe, comfort, and generate powerful change.
