Hello. I’m so glad you’re here! Maybe this is your first time seeking support or maybe you have yet to find the right connection to truly help you (or your kiddo). Taking this first step can often feel the most challenging. Maybe you notice the same thoughts continue to move through your mind and you feel stuck, yet you feel completely powerless to change what’s happening. You can feel this in your body, throughout your body — your stomach may ache, or your head hurts or maybe your throat feels tight. Receiving support can be life changing. The mind and body are inseparable. Together we can navigate this confusion and overwhelm.

Not Accepting New Clients Not afraid of humor as well as difficult feelings, I work with people who want to get back in touch with what's most important to them to feel more connected to themselves and others. I love helping people identify their "Why bother?" such as "Why bother with trying to work less, exercise more, drink less, or feel feelings more?" Negative thinking, anxiety, and increased drinking and other behaviors can be invitations to re-evaluate if you're pursuing the kind of life you desire. I'm here to help you get to the root of symptoms, understand and get past avoidance, clarify values, and celebrate progress!

I'm accepting new clients, especially telehealth clients, Sunday through Tuesday. I have some limited in-person availability on Wednesdays in Broomfield. It's so important to have someone to talk to - unfortunately we don't always have that opportunity. As a therapist, I strive to have my clients feel like they can be seen and heard in a comfortable and confidential setting. I use strengths-based, person-centered techniques to help my clients work towards self-awareness and personal growth.

I work really well with clients that are interactive, struggling with depression, anxiety, Bipolar Disorder, or just stress in everyday life. I enjoy bringing humor with my clients, as well as validating their feelings and what they are going through.

I have practicing in the mental health fields since 1995. I have been a licensed professional counselor since 2007. I have been practicing in private practice since 2012. My specialty is diving deeply into the mind and helping you experience change at a fundamental level. This requires no special knowledge or skill on your part, only willingness to explore and an openness to what you might find. Just like your body, your mind knows how to heal itself. My role is to facilitate that process. I provide a safe environment, compassionate feedback, and supportive challenge when needed. I also offer Neurofeedback to improve concentration, sleep, anxiety and ADHD.
