The breakdown is the final stage of your breakthrough. Where things stagnate, we will find movement. When everything is chaos, we settle into the eye of the storm. Our power is truly forged from hardship, but without guidance, we can struggle to hone our edge. You are not your setbacks, you are that which overcomes them. My approach is an intersection of wilderness therapy, Daoist philosophy, trauma-informed mindfulness, psychedelia, tea ceremony, dark existential humor, and dozens of research-backed techniques and theory.

The men and couples I work with are often struggling beneath the surface of success, numbness, or shame. Many carry unresolved relational trauma, experience low self-worth masked by overperformance or withdrawal, or feel stuck in patterns of codependency or compulsive behaviors. They may be facing the breakdown of a relationship and don’t know how to show up differently. What they want is clarity, connection, and control over their own behavior. They’re tired of pretending, managing, or avoiding. Deep down, they’re longing for intimacy that doesn’t cost them their integrity, and strength that doesn’t require shutting down emotions.

You may feel caught in patterns that once helped you cope but now leave you disconnected, anxious, or unsure of who you are. Trauma can show up as tension in the body, emotional numbness, people-pleasing, or feeling stuck in old roles. You might long to feel more grounded, confident, and connected in your relationships. I offer virtual sessions in CO & FL, and in-person experiential intensives in Colorado using Somatic Experiencing, expressive arts, and action-based methods like EMDR, Psychodrama, and inner child work to foster authentic healing and lasting change.

You long to feel more alive, connected, and steady in your body — but something keeps pulling you into old patterns: shutdown, overwhelm, self-doubt, disconnection. You’re insightful and aware, but talk therapy hasn’t quite touched the root. You’re ready to work more deeply — not to fix yourself, but to return to the parts of you that know how to heal, how to feel, how to belong.

Do you feel like you're always searching for the thing, the right practice, the perfect insight, the magic fix that will finally make you feel whole, real, or enough? You’ve read all the books, done all the self-help, and still feel stuck in the same patterns, disconnected from yourself and the world around you. Maybe you’re painfully aware of all your struggles, but don’t know how to move forward. The truth is, you don’t need to be fixed. Healing isn’t about doing more, working harder, or becoming someone different. It starts with BEING; slowing down, noticing your mind, body, and spirit, and meeting yourself with kind curiosity.

Most likely you're not looking for a therapist because you feel so awesome you want to pay someone to talk about it. I know that certainly wasn't the case for me - I first sought therapy because I was in a ton of pain (and not the physical kind). If that sounds familiar, first off, welcome. Second, although suffering is difficult, sometimes it is the only thing that can motivate us to make the positive changes necessary for true happiness. Although it might be external circumstances that caused you to start looking for a therapist, it is the internal work that sets us free.

You feel anxious, might never have felt good enough, may be burned out, and fear you won’t ever get to live a life you want to be living. You are tired of trying to fix everything on your own, or don't even know where to begin. You long to feel more free, confident, secure, able to make decisions, and able to reach for your dreams or have a life you feel good in. You may even feel stuck between being true to yourself and losing or impacting those you love. You may be tired of feeling alone in this.

Life contains many joys and pleasures while also presenting discomfort and heartbreak. Fortunately, humans are incredibly resilient and have an amazing ability to overcome tremendous challenges – especially when we work together. I became a licensed psychologist because I want to create positive change in the world. I believe when we help one another we all become stronger. I provide individual therapy for professionals and students ages 18+ to address concerns including: anxiety, eating disorders/body image, depression, self-esteem, trauma, academic/professional stressors, ADHD, OCD, and more.

Schedule a free consult instantly through website link! Many people come to therapy not just because something feels wrong, but because their lives feel less meaningful. I work with adults with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship stress, addiction concerns, and major life transitions. I see healing as a process that goes beyond symptom relief and into understanding what your life is asking of you now. Therapy is a place to slow down, and reconnect with what genuinely matters. Together, we focus on creating a life that feels more purposeful.

A strong, secure relationship can bring enormous joy to your life, and a struggling relationship can bring tremendous pain, fear, and despair. If your current relationship is in trouble because of conflict, lack of connection, or problems you can't fix on your own, I can help. I work deeply with couples so that they understand their own attachment styles and emotional patterns and those of their partner. Couples gain confidence in their connection so that they can leave behind patterns of emotional reactivity and withdrawal/shutdown, and share their needs, fears and feelings with confidence.

I am interested in working with a person who is committed to understanding and undertaking the therapeutic process. This looks like a willingness to be vulnerable and honest, to dig deep into the state of their mind and body and address the traumas that they may be holding, and ultimately to develop a relationship with me that can facilitate their healing. I specialize in eating disorders, depression, anxiety, family and relational conflicts, and women's issues.

Couples Counseling: Something has shifted in your relationship — and you can feel it. Maybe the two of you have drifted apart, or conversations keep turning into arguments no matter how hard you try. Perhaps trust has been broken and you're not sure if the relationship can survive it. Whatever brought you here, the fact that you're looking means some part of you still believes things can be different. For the past 25+ years, I've seen partners find their way back to each other from some very painful places. What makes that possible is understanding where problems are really coming from and finding solutions that honor both of you.

If you're a late-diagnosed autistic or ADHD adult, you've likely spent years contorting yourself to adapt and fit in. The people-pleasing, the masking, the relentless effort to belong or accomplish. Over time, your body, mind, and sense of who you are pay the price. Burnout, anxiety, and the ache of never quite feeling at home is what happens when a person works too hard, for too long, to be someone they're not. When it starts to feel like you can't keep going this way, it might be time to listen.
