Are you a man stuck in constant tension with your wife, unsure how to fix what’s gone sideways? I’m David, and I work with men who are tired of shutting down, losing their cool, or feeling like they can’t win. If the same arguments keep showing up and nothing you try seems to land, we’ll get to the root of what’s going on and start moving forward with clarity and strength.

I find therapy most potent, important, and meaningful when there is a mix of: compassion, non-judgment, curiosity, and choicefulness.
From my training in Somatic Counseling/Body Psychotherapy, I make use of my own body, and body-based (somatic-) tracking, applied moment-to-moment with clients. Sometimes this may look like noticing the breath, or bringing attention to feelings & sensations, when something—that may have been stowed psychically out-of-sight yet not out-of-reach—shifts.
There are many further toolboxes of somatic (and other!) keys that expand the range, and richness, of what therapy together—beyond talk—can include.

I am, first and foremost, a highly trained Christian Therapist. For over thirty years I have worked with couples, individuals, and families helping put an anchor back into their lives. As a Marriage and Family Therapist who is licensed in both Colorado and California, I have two Masters degrees: a Masters of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy and a Masters of Divinity (a three-year ministerial academic training) both earned from Fuller Seminary in Pasadena, California that has been coined “The Princeton of the West”. I use a "systems" approach to marriage and family therapy which means I view each person as part of a whole.

You've probably already tried the therapy apps. You're here because you want something different — a therapist who actually specializes in what you're dealing with.
I work with couples and individuals navigating real complexity: high-achieving, mixed-neurotype relationships where one or both partners are autistic or have ADHD, trauma histories that keep showing up in the relationship, the slow drift of emotional disconnection in a committed relationship, or a spiritual life that doesn't fit neatly into conventional therapy.
You may do the work — and still find yourself stuck in the same patterns. That gap is where I work best.

Navigating the immigration process can feel overwhelming. Your lawyer is handling the legal side, but you’re left feeling anxious, confused, and scared that the only home you’ve ever known could be taken from you. You search for answers, and that’s where I come in. An Immigration Psychological Evaluation can provide critical support for your case. This could be the key factor in keeping your family together rather than torn apart. Whether you're seeking asylum, facing hardship, applying for a waiver, or proving the emotional impact of separation, I take the time to provide a comprehensive evaluation. You don’t have to do this alone.

I am an evidence based clinician that prioritizes patient education to empower my clients to work toward treatment goals. I have worked in a variety of clinical settings and I strongly believe that a good foundation to therapy starts with a strong therapeutic alliance with a therapist. I value rapport building and taking the time to learn my clients.

I work best with people who feel deeply, those who are intuitive, aware, and often the “strong one” for everyone else, yet inside feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or alone. Many of my clients are navigating anxiety, depression, relationship pain, or life transitions like separation or identity shifts. Some come in knowing exactly what hurts, while others just feel that something isn’t right and want to understand themselves on a deeper level.

You may appear successful, independent, or “high-functioning” on the outside while internally feeling overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, disconnected, anxious, or stuck in survival mode. Many of my clients are high-achieving adults, adolescents, athletes, and young professionals navigating anxiety, ADHD, trauma, burnout, addiction recovery, identity stress, and major life transitions.
