I help families of teens go from worry and anxiety to renewed connection and happiness. We all want our kids to be happy, and it’s hard to watch them struggle. Our teens face the same adolescent challenges we did (intense emotions & feeling "different," without having the long-range view adulthood brings)--but they also navigate the additional stress of violence (school shootings), grief (rising suicide rates), exposure (social media) and non-stop accessibility (smartphones + internet). While our teens wrestle with anxiety and feel alone, parents worry they could lose their kid to depression, mental health issues, or even suicide.

Ideal clients are those impacted by their symptoms with an awareness of needing to evolve to overcome their daily struggle. As we start our journey at the bottom of the mountain we must understand there are several paths to the top. All of these paths have the potential to lead you to the top to find the view you've been looking for. You're going to choose your path, as with many things in life. I will walk alongside you as we ascend the mountain, meeting daily goals on the way. As we move forward, we'll process the roots, rocks, caves, canyons we traverse. Why do you keep tripping on them? Why are they holding you back?

Everyone deserves the best life has to offer. I strive to give my clients the information, insights and tools they need to make the most of their lives. My approach is very eclectic, but draws heavily upon my own life experiences, cognitive behavioral and existential theories.

I have been providing support to children, adults and families during times of stress, transition and crisis for over 30 years. Areas of specialization include trauma resolution, life transitions and grief. My approach is both compassionate and practical. Supporting healthy attachment in relationship and supporting the inner changes that occur when one steps onto a spiritual path are of particular interest as well. Moving from worn out habits driving behavior to genuine expression and presence.

Hi, my name is Charlie. Being a teen or young adult is hard. You might be navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, identity questions, relationship stress, or simply feeling unsure about what comes next. You don’t have to figure it out alone. I work with teens and young adults (ages 13-28) to help them cultivate the tools they need to navigate through some of the most chaotic times in their lives with confidence and joy. I received my master's degree in transpersonal wilderness therapy from Naropa University in 2023 and have since become EMDR-trained and Certified as a Mindfulness-Informed Practitioner.

Maybe this is your first time in therapy, and you don't know what to expect. Or maybe you've tried many times, but it feels like nothing has worked. Either way, I think I have something unique to offer you. I use both nature and technology to enhance the effectiveness of therapy. This combination yields positive results in many different areas including ADHD, PTSD, depression, anxiety, dissociation, anger management, self-esteem, and more.
