I love bringing creativity into the therapy space, using art, imagery, and metaphor to help clients explore emotions that can feel hard to put into words.
I am especially passionate about working with adolescents and young adults, ages 11–24+, who are navigating identity, anxiety, trauma, and big life changes. I also deeply value supporting adults of all ages through transitions, grief, PTSD, and family or spiritual trauma.

I practice person-centered therapy, which means that I aim to create a therapeutic environment of empathy, acceptance, and authenticity. During sessions, I give suggestions about techniques to try and skills to practice, but I believe my clients are the experts on their lives and what works best for them. My goal is to empower my clients to determine how they want to move forward rather than telling them what to do. I strive not to judge my clients for their actions; instead, I help them uncover the underlying thoughts and motivations behind their behaviors.

I often use creative-focused approaches like music, art, sandplay, dreamwork, imagery, and somatic interventions to cultivate greater awareness and make meaning out of these therapies in your own personal life.
You may look strong and capable on the outside, but inside you feel weighed down by anxiety, depression, trauma responses, self-doubt, grief, or the relentless demands of work and relationships. You have always been creative and a deep thinker, you relied on logic and resilience to push through, but lately those strategies aren’t enough—you’re hitting a wall. You want clarity, direction, and lasting change, but you’re not sure where to start.

As an art therapist and nurse I know that the healing process includes the mental, emotional, and physical aspects of a person all being connected.
Art Therapy: You don't have to be "good at art" in order to grow from it (including stick figures). In creating even the simplest piece of art about your emotions, you have externalized the emotions. From here it is much easier to talk about the emotions as an experience and how to manage them rather than the emotions being seen as permanent or wrong.

I use traditional talk therapy, but I also incorporate creative and expressive approaches like art and play when it feels helpful.
Starting therapy can feel like a big step, whether you have something specific to work on or just a sense that things feel a little “off.” You don’t need to have everything figured out to begin. I’m passionate about helping people rebuild safety, autonomy, and self-trust. I welcome clients from all backgrounds and have extensive experience supporting folks impacted trauma. I enjoy working with children, teens, and young adults around big emotions, relationships, boundaries, and identity, and supporting people through anxiety and major life transitions, including chronic illness diagnoses.

Schedule a free consultation instantly through my website in my bio! Hello, I'm Frank! I believe we all have something unique to offer the world and adversity alone should not stop us from pursuing our fullest potential. When we’re stuck in defense patterns, compassion and creativity go offline. Left unexamined, this can become our normal way of being. Which can kinda work… until it doesn’t. And when the wheels fall off, we’re often faced with another moment of crisis. Having a trusted and skilled therapist can support your mind and body’s ability to rebound from a traumatic experience and create a new way forward.
