APS Healthcare Therapists in Boulder, CO
I am here to assist anyone who is struggling and wants to heal, grow and flourish so that they can finally be the person they always knew they could be!
I hold the process of therapy as a sacred opportunity for two people to share and explore how humans learn, grow and flourish through the gifts and challenges that living on this planet at this time offers us. I believe we each know the way home to ourselves, our wise, healthy and whole selves, and I am here to assist you in discovering and uncovering the true “you” beyond traumas, defenses, and experiences of depression, anxiety, shut down, or overwhelm.

Are you experiencing repeated conflicts with a child, spouse, or partner and would like some help with communication problems? Have you experienced childhood or adult trauma or abuse (physical, emotional, or sexual)? Do you experience episodes of depression, hyperactivity, mania (decreased need for sleep, racing thoughts, more talkative, unusually more productive)? Maybe you have concentration and/or attention difficulties, don't seem to be able to finish projects, or have good organization skills. Have you or someone close to you noticed issues related to addiction or dependence (compulsive behaviors) on alcohol, drugs, gambling, food, internet or computer games, or even work or sex?

Breaking through the barriers. What keeps you from true happiness and living the life you truly love? Perhaps you are in an unfulfilling intimate relationship that is not meeting your needs, or you desire a long-term meaningful partnership but keep finding that area to be a struggle. Are friendships and community challenging? Is your relationship with your family or particular family members in conflict? Often it is a need to learn to cope with difficult emotions such as anxiety and fears, negative thinking or challenging relationships that keep you from experiencing a life of joy and happiness.

Many of the people I work with are thoughtful, sensitive individuals who want to understand themselves more deeply. They may feel stuck in patterns of anxiety, relationship struggles, or self-criticism, and are looking for a more compassionate way to relate to their inner world. Together we slow down and explore what is happening emotionally and relationally, helping create greater clarity, resilience, and meaningful change.

I became a therapist because I genuinely want to provide a space for people to show up just as they are. You don’t need to feel a certain way, say anything specific, or meet any goal on my timeline. When we can sit back and accept ourselves as we are, we begin to hear things we couldn’t while trying to fix or fight parts of ourselves. I believe even the most challenging parts of us have protective purposes—they deserve curiosity, not shame.

I’m a Denver-based therapist helping individuals, couples, and polyamorous, ENM, CNM, and open relationship partner systems navigate anxiety, depression, perfectionism, relationship challenges, existential concerns, identity exploration, and life transitions. My approach blends existential, humanistic, and Gestalt therapy with Parts Work, creating a space to explore, understand, and integrate the different parts of yourself.
It's hard to accurately capture with words how much I love change. The work we can do aims to help you befriend change as a force we can learn from and move with- instead of pushing against it.
