We all have a story! Sometimes, through life's ups and downs we need a new perspective and a way to navigate through change. I provide a safe and non-judgemental environment for my clients. I believe that my job as a therapist is to work in a partnership with clients in learning more about themselves, identifying barriers in their lives, and creating strategies and solutions on how to overcome them. There is not just one way to achieve personal happiness, and I will help each client navigate their own way to achieve their goals.
Are you struggling with anxiety, depression, or residual symptoms of a traumatic experience? Do you find yourself using substances or other harmful coping strategies to make it through the day? Do your emotions seem to overwhelm and guide your day-to-day interactions? Are your relationships with others stressful and unfulfilling? These can be debilitating issues that can hinder our ability to move through life with ease, serenity, and peace. I believe that these struggles are not life sentences, and growth and self-actualization can be achieved through cognitive, emotional, and behavioral changes.
Change can be scary, and it can also lead to growth and opportunities. I am committed to supporting my clients through the challenges in life. My goal is to assist my clients in all aspects of their lives and assist them in finding solutions that work for them.

My passion for therapy arose from a decade working in non-profits and teaching yoga simultaneously. As I witnessed and supported people in healing and self-discovery within both these fields I regularly saw how scaffolding someone to trust and know oneself could bring profound change. So, to better support a person healing themself, I studied somatic (body-based) psychotherapy. As a body based psychotherapist sessions can still include talking and stillness, but we also get to care for the totality of our experiences which can include the often metaphorical or intangible experiences of the body, mind, and spirit.
No matter where you're at in your journey, if you're motivated to heal from past trauma, I'm here to help. Maybe you've had enough of your brutal inner critic. Whether you're coming to me for PTSD, CPTSD, anxiety, depression, or LGBTQIA+ affirming care, we'll build coping skills catered to your needs. Are you and your partner struggling to connect, communicate, leave the past behind and move forward into a more rewarding relationship? Throughout my life, being in connection with nature—both that of the natural world and that which resides in myself—has grounded and revitalized me, lent wisdom and insight, and brought me great joy. These experiences of connection have helped me clarify how I want to serve other human beings: to accompany them as they wade through the darker parts of their experiences, to help guide their quests for greater self-understanding, and to support their natural inclinations for healing and growth. I work with adults and adolescents facing challenges such as life transitions, relationship issues, anxiety, addictions, and complex trauma.
Licensed Professional Counselor, RN, BSN, LPC, MBA
I work with men and women facing both the 'big' and the seemingly common issues of life. 'Big' life changes like a cancer diagnosis or a partner experiencing dementia; 'Life' issues like relationships, grief/loss, anxiety, anger, depression, persistent feelings of sadness, job difficulties, retirement challenges and more. Those who work with me soon come to appreciate the value of being heard; of being seen and accepted-despite the sharp edges that may appear as we try to protect ourselves from the pain the world sometimes presents us.
Over 30 years' experience helping people with their emotional pain, trauma, fear, anxiety, depression, confusion, grief, esteem, stress, and life changes including heart break and narcissistic abuse. I can assist you in using your personal strengths, develop new coping skills and strategies that you can, immediately use to feel better and live fully.

I help children feel more expansion in their emotionality so that they are able to break the cycles of self-doubt and move forward with their innate wisdom and their natural curiosities. In the old-paradigm, we have been faced with imbalances, pressures, restrictions and tensions especially in school. Some children thrive in the current system. Others have a more outside of the box way of learning. By honoring our deepest truths, we prepare for the world we are creating. Kids are looking for their own unique outlets to express their needs. We work together to embody and discover choices that make the most sense for who they are!
