Too few of us have had support in accessing the nourishment of our own depth. We all hold the innate capacity to know and move from our depth, but sometimes we need help to parse out what on earth depth even means and how to safely relate to it. Together, we'll honor the complex mixture of the external and internal - ranging from
family
of origin, social locations, cultural experiences, form and formless - that fashion how you relate to yourself and ways you show up in the world. I offer a warm, steadfast space in which to work with trauma, anxiety and depression, life transitions, spirituality, creativity, and relationships.

Relationships create the foundation of our lives throughout our entire existence. In fact, our earliest relationships can impact nearly every future interaction we have. If you have questions, concerns, or curiosities about any of your relationships - with your partner, children, extended
family
, or friends - working with a therapist specially trained in attachment work can change your life. Finding a therapist who really understands you, and what you are going through, is imperative in attachment work. Find someone who will both deeply support you and gently challenge you when you are on the edge of growth.

I have a background in working with addictions, grief, anxiety, depression, self neglect, and abandonment issues. We will focus on self-care, life transitions, self-expression, and support for an abundant life. I especially like working with people where they feel stuck and unable to move forward. I'm guessing that in many areas of your life you are functioning quite well, even thriving. On the other hand you may be simultaneously experiencing a lack of fulfillment and a feeling of emptiness in another area(s) of your life. Symptoms of this may be anxiety, mood problems (including depression), addiction, problems in relationships or behavioral issues. You can choose the pain of stagnation or the discomfort of growth. If you choose growth, you will experience greater joy, peace, connectedness, and purpose. My purpose is to facilitate your growth and therapy is a powerful tool for your transformation.

**I am taking new online clients* Hello - I help women break free from manipulative relationships. We can feel so trapped by toxic coaches, bosses, partners and
family
members. Many times these people appear to be great, fantastic people and the toxicity is hidden so we feel at fault; we end up feeling crazy. You are going to learn to recognize your own needs and feelings. You will see what behaviors are OK and which ones are abusive. You will forgive yourself for your choices and participation. And you will see that you are not crazy. Your inner voice is correct; your compass points to true North; you will find a way forward.

Hi there, I have an immediate opening for a new client (individual, relationship, or
family
system). If you're in a relationship, whether romantic or familial, and find navigating the "shoulds" limits growth and potential, then I might be a good fit. I find meaning in working with humans from all backgrounds, gender identities, sexual orientations, and romantic relationships as we re-author stories that constrain us towards thicker ones focusing on growth and freedom. I also love working with older humans and those wrestling with chronic pain.

Areas of expertise include:helping people of all ages overcome anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, working with individuals and, families to resolve issues related to abuse, loss, trauma, divorce, and other life challenges and
supporting teenagers and college-aged students with mood issues, school stresses, relationships, body image and
family
problems.
As a therapist, my goal is to help you uncover your true potential. During times when we are overwhelmed or flooded by emotions it can be difficult to find solutions to lifes challenges. We can become frustrated by our tendency to repeat the same patterns over and over. In our therapy we will work toward establishing balance, positive coping skills and new strategies unique to your own strengths and potential. While we can't change difficult situations of the past, we can work together to better understand and resolve challenges in your life.

I have extensive experience working with diverse populations in psychiatric hospitals, adolescent residential treatment programs, the juvenile criminal justice system, young adult transitional programs,
family
systems and private practice.
As a psychotherapist with 28 years of experience, I approach therapy from an empathic relational orientation. It is very important my clients feel heard and validated with a sense of security as they explore their experiences of both suffering and success. I often use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), an evidenced based psychotherapy treatment to help improve communication with others, reduce fears and phobias, interrupt thoughts that lead to addictive and other self destructive behaviors, improve self esteem and change negative thought patterns.

We all get stuck or feel lost sometimes. It's an inevitable part of being human. But for members of the Military, First Responders, and their families, this can be especially difficult. I don't feel that people are "broken," and I don't feel that people need to be "fixed." Sometimes, we may feel that way, but that doesn't make it true. If you are an Active Military service member, a Veteran, an Emergency Responder, or a
family
member or caregiver in these communities, then I am here to help, guide, counsel, and to listen without judgment.

Family Therapy
What do family therapists do?
A family therapist facilitates the process of understanding and improving how a family functions. The therapist will help family members develop empathy for one another. They’ll seek to understand existing patterns, misunderstandings, and conflicts that arise, in order to help the family arrive at a realistic, unified understanding and develop the coping skills they need to build stronger relationships.
How long does therapy for families take to work?
Therapy manifests differently in every family; a common time frame is 12 weekly sessions, but some families may see improvement after just a few weeks. Families should discuss their goals with the therapist at the beginning of the process and periodically revisit those goals to assess their progress together.
How can you encourage a family member to attend family therapy?
You can encourage family members to attend therapy by expressing with both love and concern the challenges you see and explaining how a therapist could help the family navigate those challenges together. An outside perspective can help everyone feel heard, get on the same page, and develop new skills. If family members are still hesitant, it may be helpful to emphasize that family therapy is short-term—it won’t last forever.
Is therapy for families effective?
Family therapy can significantly improve family dynamics and relationships. Research suggests that family therapy can help individuals understand their role in the family, communicate and solve problems together, reduce conflict and draw boundaries when necessary, and develop coping skills for stressors, major life changes, and mental or physical illnesses within the family.
