In addition to specializing in treating anxiety, depression , trauma, and identity exploration, I also offer specialized services tailored to professionals.
Hello, I am Chloe. My approach is collaborative, strength-based, and inclusive. I work with adults to reduce suffering, enhance life satisfaction, and to foster exploration, growth, and empowerment. I aim to create a warm, genuine, non-judgmental space where clients can feel safe experiencing their emotions, exploring their needs, and developing a life consistent with their goals and core values. I balance creating a supportive space with also compassionately challenging clients to identify factors interfering with their quality of life and to ultimately meet their goals. I often bring laughter and curiosity to the therapy room.

Sometimes the next level is on the other side of fear, depression , anxiety, PTSD, addictions, relationship challenges, and anger.
I see the process of therapy as a connection between experts: You are the expert in your life, and I am the expert in the process of guiding people deepen their connection with themselves, and what is most important to them. Together we will develop a profound understanding of your current circumstances by studying the obstacles you have encountered on your path. We will capitalize on your personal qualities and use this information to clarify and delineate achievable goals that are relevant to you. The result of this process is that you will feel more in control, comfortable, and fulfilled in your life.

I work with families, couples and individuals, 12 years and older, who experience anxiety, depression , grief/loss, trauma, relational issues, gender identity, transgender decisions, fertility difficulties and divorce.
Until further notice, I am only accepting online, private pay patients. Online costs are the same as in-person sessions. — After 36 years in practice, I still witness the power of "the talking cure". Through talking, we come to know ourselves intimately and are able to discover what is at the root of painful thoughts, feelings and actions. Feeling seen, heard, understood and accepted is key to restoring hope as well as alleviating pain and suffering. Deep and abiding change can occur because an authentic relationship with a caring and skilled therapist allows for exploration of painful, scary and difficult feelings.

You lie awake at night wondering: "Why did I say that?" "Why did they say that?" "What is wrong with me?" "Will I ever be ok?" "Everyone else has this all figured out, why don't I?" "How come no one wants to be with me?" "Will this anxiety/ depression ever lift?" And so many other intrusive thoughts. You realize you're thinking these thoughts all day, but at night they really catch up with you. In the morning your thoughts wake you up and the barrage begins anew, always the same words, invoking the same hopeless and helpless feelings. You do what you can just to get out of bed wondering how life got so hard.

Depression Therapists
Depressive disorders are characterized by persistent feelings of sadness and worthlessness and a lack of desire to engage in formerly pleasurable activities. Depression is not a passing blue mood, which almost everyone experiences from time to time, but a complex mind/body illness that interferes with everyday functioning. It not only darkens one's outlook, it is commonly marked by sleep problems and changes in energy levels and appetite. It alters the structure and function of nerve cells so that it disrupts the way the brain processes information and interprets experience.

Despite feelings of hopelessness and worthlessness, depression is a treatable condition. It can be treated with psychotherapy. As with many illnesses, the earlier treatment begins, the more effective it can be and the greater the likelihood that recurrence can be prevented.

Psychotherapy addresses the thinking patterns that precipitate depression, and studies show that it prevents recurrence. Drug therapy is often helpful in relieving symptoms, such as severe anxiety, so that people can engage in meaningful psychotherapy.
