Sometimes we lose our way on our journey. We create false narratives and forget who we are and the strengths we have. You are not alone. No Hero's Journey is complete without trusted individuals to help along the way. Healing incorporates genuine caring, and reality gently reflected back to you in a compassionate and loving way, so that self compassion can become a part of your inner landscape. The greatest love affair you will have in your lifetime is with yourself. All other relationships are born from this. How you love yourself is how you love others. I look forward to helping you discover yourself.

I draw from a variety of self-evidence based practices such as play therapy, sand tray and other expressive art therapies, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), and trust based relational intervention (TBRI) principles.
If you or your child have been battling with common mental health concerns or displaying various behavioral challenges, I would love to help walk alongside and help you or your loved one reach a greater level of self-awareness and resilience in tackling life's challenges. From teaching communication skills, to navigating trauma, or working through grief, I offer a welcoming therapeutic space that is both collaborative and engaging for you or your loved ones to freely explore their challenges clearly and with no judgement. I currently work with kids and teens, ages 5 all the way up to 21!

Through mindfulness, guided meditations, EMDR, and art therapy, I provide clients opportunities to identify and challenge learned belief systems related to traumas and life experiences.
When we’re hurting or just going through a difficult time, so often we feel alone in our experiences. Depression, anxiety, trauma and loss can narrow our perspectives and make us feel disconnected from our loved ones and ourselves. In those moments, it can be hard to access our own sense of worth. I welcome all my clients with unconditional acceptance, wherever they are in their lives, and however they are feeling. I provide clients with tools that encourage and enhance a sense of well being, and offer a compassionate, welcoming, nonjudgmental space to help them connect with their own inner strength and wisdom.

If you’re reading this, something in your life isn’t working the way you want it to. Maybe you feel anxious, overwhelmed, disconnected, or stuck repeating the same patterns despite your best efforts. Maybe you’ve done a lot of personal growth work but still feel like something deeper hasn’t shifted. You don’t have to navigate this alone. I help adults move out of survival mode and into a more grounded, confident, and meaningful way of living. My clients are often high-functioning on the outside while quietly carrying stress, trauma, self-doubt, or burnout on the inside.

Other techniques I use include somatic techniques and art.
I specialize in working with individuals navigating religious trauma, spiritual abuse, and faith deconstructing and/or transitioning. Clients experiencing religious trauma may feel anxious, depressed, ashamed, or unsure of who they are outside of the belief system they were raised in. They may be experiencing relationship conflict as their beliefs change. They often feel a deep loss of community and identity. Together, we gently unpack experiences and create space of healing, clarity, and self-trust, while working on ways to navigate important relationships.

Many people come to therapy carrying a sense of pain, disconnection, or unresolved conflict. These struggles can show up in different ways — strained relationships, emotional withdrawal, sudden life changes, or even a subtle but unsettling shift in one’s sense of self. In today’s fast-paced and interconnected world, our inner lives can feel increasingly fragmented. The pressures of work, family, and personal expectations often leave little space to pause, reflect, and reconnect. Over time, this disconnection can lead to anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, family conflict, or a painful loss of self-worth.

If you feel drawn to a more holistic way of working with themes like these and you are curious to engage with more creative/ art, spiritual/soul, somatic, nature-based, or experiential approaches.
I weave together art, creativity, somatics, nature-connection, and mindfulness. I also use reflection, contemplation, and talking to integrate. I work well with themes of identity, times of transition, expansion, self-compassion, grief and loss, anxiety, depression, decision making, burn-out, relationship dynamics, creative block, trauma, and parts work.

Art Therapy
How does art therapy work?
The process of making art allows people to express themselves. Art-making can take many forms, such as painting, collage, or sculpting. The therapist asks questions that the work elicits, such as how the person felt while creating their piece, or if any memories surfaced that they can discuss. The therapist will then work with the patient to process their experience, understand themselves better, and work toward change.

Does art therapy help with trauma?
Art therapy can be a valuable treatment option for those suffering from trauma. Traumatic experiences such as combat, rape, or childhood abuse can be so painful that articulating them can be too scary or painful; creating art allows people to express themselves without words, and tell their story in a different way. The physical nature of creating art can also help people feel rooted in the body, which may benefit those who feel disconnected from their body in the aftermath of trauma.

How long does art therapy last?
The duration of art therapy varies, but a common length for treatment is 10 to 15 weekly sessions. Some people may see improvement in just a few weeks, while others may choose to remain in therapy longer term. Patients should periodically discuss their goals with their therapist to make sure the two are aligned on process and progress.

What are the limitations of art therapy?
Art therapy is helpful for many people, but a limitation is that it doesn’t have as robust an evidence base as other forms of therapy, such as cognitive behavioral therapy or acceptance and commitment therapy. The evidence on art therapy is mixed; some research demonstrates its benefits, while other research suggests that it has little impact on patients.
