I also work at the Children's Hospital, Colorado, and work with children and families, who are struggling with a variety of issues. I work with both adults and children. My goal is to help children, adolescents and adults come up with ways to cope and manage life stressors, and focus on sustained solutions to their problems. I have provided assessment and treatment for a number of mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, schizophrenia, personality disorders, cognitive disorders, and the like.

Therapy with me often focuses on understanding emotional patterns and developing new coping strategies. While therapeutic work is often aimed at resolving a current crisis, many clients find that linking current issues to past experiences is helpful in promoting personal growth rather than just fixing a situation.

My passion is working with families and children to help them in creating the best relationship possible. Children often do not have the words to tell us when things are not going well for them, instead, they often show us their feelings through challenging behaviors. I love helping parents understand their child's behavior and helping children find ways to cope when things are tough. I know parenting is not always easy. In addition to raising my own children, I have worked with children in a variety of settings including daycare and school. I truly enjoy helping parents and children learn to communicate and connect.

I have over twelve years of experience working with adolescents and families in different capacities and have dedicated my career to working exclusively with this population.
