It is widely acknowledged that at the heart of any therapeutic success is not the methodology used, or the theoretical approach. Nor is it the specific treatment chosen or prescribed. My approach to treatment is rooted in the theoretical foundations of existentialism, systems theory, feminism, and Freud. What does that mean in practical terms? Generally, it means that I work from a position of believing an individual does not exist in a vacuum, that one’s environment, and the systems around them, influence and impact them.
My practice is inclusive and open to all; I encourage you to schedule a consultation to see whether we are a good match. I do specialize in the treatment of those who have undergone trauma and may be suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), involvement with the justice system, and providing an unbiased and judgement-free place for sex workers.
