Counseling interns and LGs in Virginia, Maryland and Washington, DC receive clinical supervision with me to receive support navigating being a mental health counselor, developing a clinical identity, starting or working in private practice and honing specialties. I'm Virginia and Maryland board-approved, clinical supervisor and professional counselor who is licensed in Maryland and Washington DC. I see my supervisees as collaborators who have something to offer me, clients and the profession. I'm diligent about reading notes and providing precise feedback about documentation, ethics, personal and professional wellbeing.
In our supervision sessions, you will find me energetic, enthusiastic and engaged. I am warm and compassionate and will also challenge you to grow out of some of your comforts. I prioritize and encourage self-care and encourage clinicians to engage in therapy practice that feels good and it's meaningful and purposeful for them.
I enjoy working with LG's and interns who are mindful of what being a therapist entails (the joys, freedoms and liabilities). If you can balance autonomy and reaching out for help and are looking for support with client care; ethical and professional guidance; skill and confidence development; personal and professional growth, reach out today!
