Psychological evaluations can be utilized to clarify a patient's diagnosis, strengths, and areas needing support, recommend changes at home and school, and determine appropriate educational and professional services. Assessments include clinical interviewing, intelligence testing, and other tests and rating scales relevant to the referral question.
