Adults face various stressors, including those related to career, education, personal, spiritual, emotional, behavioral, relational, familial, marital, parental, and judicial. The challenges of transitioning into adulthood, along with the multiple stages of maturity, can be taxing. Personal traumatic experiences or exposure to trauma impact everyone differently; however, society expects you to cope and proceed onward due to your responsibilities or obligations. In some cases, this is easier said than done.
I utilize an Eclectic Approach to therapy. As individuals, our emotional, behavioral, and psycho-social needs are entirely different. This approach draws from multiple theoretical orientations to address the specific needs of every individual, whose needs may not be adequately addressed using only one approach.
My communication style is motivational. I advocate and seek to give a voice to all of my clients who may not feel like they have the expertise, information, awareness, motivation, strength, or emotional health to advocate for themselves.
