Clifford J. Clark, LLMSW, MDiv-C, CSAT-C, Clinical Social Work/Therapist in Novi
With more than 10 years of working with diverse populations in marriage and relationships, inpatient psychiatry, community centers, health care, and church settings, my specialty is Sex Addiction and Marriage/Couples. I am a Certified Sexual Addiction Therapist (C) treating the full spectrum of sexually addictive behaviors and paraphilic disorders. My integrative therapy style is customized to the personality and presenting needs of my clients as I am motivated to help them achieve their optimum goals.
I also specialize in Christian counseling for both marriages and individuals, with continued education in the Gottman & Imago Methods. As a counselor, I utilize several therapeutic models such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI) models.
Additionally, as a former pastor and clinical crisis-interventionist, I have over 15 years of experience in working with suburban, rural and urban/inner-city populations. I offer a safe, comfortable, non-judgmental, welcoming climate in addition to a listening ear and professional consultation.
