Hi, I'm Cliff Merrell. I would truly love to help you and your loved one’s develop strong and healthy relationships. I started in therapy because of the obstacles in my own life. I was so moved with empathy and the desire to help, that I retired from a successful business, completed my education, and entered the field. After completing my Master’s at O.U. I decided to pursue the most research driven practices available in the mental health field. I passionately believe in giving my clients the most practical and applicable help they can receive! My primary focus is marriage/couples counseling, and ADHD. I have completed Level 1 and 2 training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy at the Gottman Institute. I am ADHD-Certified with EverGreen Certifications. I have also worked extensively with Anxiety, Depression, and many other mental health issues.

I use the Gottman Method in my couples therapeutic process. I'm a integrative therapist and may use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and Person-Centered Therapy (PCT), and others depending on the clients needs.
