Hello, my name is Susanne Neal, and I am a Licensed Addiction and Mental Health Counselor. I specialize in supporting individuals with substance use, mental health challenges, and trauma. My approach focuses on uncovering the root of your struggles.
In initial sessions, we will engage in conversations and activities designed to explore and challenge the beliefs holding you back. By identifying these core beliefs, we can work to replace them with healthier thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, leading to improved outcomes. My journey and extensive education make my practice unique, which fuels my passion for this work.
I have a Cognitive Behavioral approach and explore how childhood experiences and patterns in thoughts, feelings and behaviors may continue to affect how you manage them presently. I use Brainspotting to help your brain heal. I am an advocate for Emotional Support Animals, ESA, and believe whole-heartedly in the bond between human wellness and animal energy
