This is where a counselor can help you interpret and re-frame the issues to chart a path to help get "UNstuck". My goal in therapy is to create a safe place to talk about the issues and work towards a solution. Maya Angelou says it best: "You may not control all the events that happen to you, but you can decide not to be reduced by them. If you cannot make a change, change the way you have been thinking. You might find a new solution."
Each emotional injury has its own unique time-to-heal, and can take many different paths towards healing. As we walk side-by-side through your journey, I can help by providing support for thinking creatively, and by providing options for solutions.
I am Christian of 45 years, husband of 46 years, father of 4 and grandfather of 9. I believe that we are all broken. But together, we can learn to understand our brokenness so that we can successfully walk in relationship with God, ourselves and others.
