My approach is a results oriented, active, direct, and homework driven style. Addictions often originate from deeper underlying issues such as trauma/PTSD, chronic pain, psychosis, anxiety, and depression. I want to help you accomplish -whatever- goals/values that are uniquely important to you. I genuinely want to help you put the hard work of therapy into achieving real growth. I am part of the neurodivergent/high functioning autistic community. Please scroll down to read my blubs about the evidenced based treatments I use for these struggles. Self compassion is powerful! Book in person (Tucson area) or zoom at my website.
The population I have chosen to work with is adults and teenagers who struggle or who have previously struggled with compulsive use of drugs/alcohol despite significant negative consequences their relationships/career/hobbies. I can help you achieve either abstinence or harm reduction approaches to substance abuse and work on the deeper underlying issues.
This is a supervised private practice. It is owned and/or managed by a master’s level, non-independent licensee (myself) under Board-approved clinical supervision pursuant to A.A.C. R4-6-211. The Board-approved clinical supervisor of this practice is Jill Fabian. Her Credentials are LISAC and LCSW. Her contact info is available on my website.
